Australia's Coastal Flora: The New Eau de Parfum “Pacific Rock Flower” by Goldfield & Banks

Australia's Coastal Flora: The New Eau de Parfum “Pacific Rock Flower” by Goldfield & Banks

With "Pacific Rock Flower", Goldfield & Banks captures the essence of the white tea tree flower - a hardy plant that thrives on the Australian east coast under the sun, wind and salty air.

Pacific Rock Flower is a fresh and captivating fragrance that evokes the beauty of Australia's sunlit coastline. A sparkling, aquatic perfume where indigenous white flowers meet the salty breeze, softened by creamy woods and the warmth of golden sand. A refreshing scent reminiscent of barefoot walks along the coast, with waves crashing below and wildflowers swaying above.

At the heart of "Pacific Rock Flower" is the white tea tree blossom, whose essential oil provides a eucalyptus-like freshness and green, aromatic note.

To evoke the fresh coastal air of Australia, the fragrance opens with a note of sea salt. At the heart, coastal tea tree oil combines with floral facets of tuberose and coral tree blossom, accompanied by creamy coconut wax, which gives the fragrance a soft texture. The composition is rounded off with a warm, earthy base of Australian sandalwood and Indonesian patchouli.

The unisex fragrance was created in collaboration with the French perfumer Emilie Bouge, who comes from a family with over 200 years of perfumery tradition in Grasse.

Part of The Native Collection

"Pacific Rock Flower" is part of The Native Collection from the Australian label. The aim of the fragrance line is to interpret the wild, multifaceted nature of Australia olfactorily: from golden coastlines to dense bushland and sun-scorched deserts.

Other fragrances in the collection include "Bohemian Lime" - a sparkling citrus scent that evokes the tropical light-heartedness of Byron Bay; "Sunset Hour" - a sensual blend of Santalum acuminatum, coconut cream and sandalwood, inspired by the warm colors of western sunsets; and "Pacific Rock Moss" - an aquatic composition reminiscent of salty breezes and vast coastlines.

About Goldfield & Banks

Goldfield & Banks was founded in 2017 by the Belgian-French perfumer Dimitri Weber, who previously worked for brands such as Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent. Inspired by the wild and untouched beauty of Australia, he was drawn to Melbourne, where, together with the cosmetics company Cosmax Goldfield & Banks, he created a company that translates the continent's botanical diversity into fragrance compositions.

The name is a tribute to Australia's natural and cultural history: "Goldfield" refers to the golden landscapes of the colonial era, "Banks" to the British naturalist Sir Joseph Banks, who documented the flora of the fifth continent in the 18th century.

The new fragrance is available in flacon sizes of 10 and 100 ml. The 100 ml size can just be pre-ordered. Delivery will take place from May 15, 2025.
