An Ode to the Gardens of Paris: “Impadia” by bdk Parfums

With "Impadia", bdk Parfums presents a new Eau de Parfum in which sensual rose absolute meets fresh citrus notes - embedded in a warm base of black vanilla.

My intention was to create a fragrance that expresses beauty in its purest form. The starting point was an irresistibly addictive blend of Bulgarian and Turkish roses, whose petals whisper stories of sensuality. I enhanced this accord with the richness of Madagascar vanilla and harmoniously interwove it with a delicious, creamy praline to give it a delectable sweetness.

The fragrance journey of "Impadia" begins with a refreshing opening of pear, Italian bergamot and the fruity sweetness of mandarin Orpur®. This is followed by a floral bouquet of Bulgarian rose, Moroccan orange blossom Absolue Orpur® and Turkish rose Absolue Orpur® at the heart of the composition, inspired by the floral splendor and grace of Parisian gardens. The base lends the fragrance depth and warmth: Sensual Bourbon Vanilla Absolue blends with the spicy woody nuances of Akigalawood®, while praline and sandalwood provide a creamy-sweet finish.

The unisex fragrance was created by the renowned perfumer Jordi Fernández.
