On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Balmain Hair, the French fashion house presents the new "Heritage 1974" collection, consisting of three hair fragrances.

The Cardamom 1974 hair perfume is a truly powerful hair fragrance that will give you the confidence to wear a Balmain blazer.

In "Cardamom 1974", fresh notes of bergamot, lemon and blackcurrant combine with the warm spiciness of cardamom, enveloped by the floral tones of rose. The base of ambroxan, white musk and patchouli lends the fragrance a woody, sensual depth, rounded off with creamy gourmand and vanilla notes.

Vetiver 1974 : Earthy depth and freshness

The Vetiver 1974 hair perfume is a unisex, slightly masculine fragrance with a strong, grounding scent.

Balmain Hair

"Vetiver 1974" opens with fresh, tangy notes of grapefruit and rhubarb, which mingle with the delicate sweetness of lily of the valley, rose and rose geranium. The composition is rounded off with warm cedarwood and an earthy vetiver accord, surrounded by balsamic notes of benzoin and labdanum.

Ginger 1974: Invigorating citrus notes and fir balsam

Enriched with silk proteins and argan elixir, it smells of the invigorating "Ginger 1974" fragrance and leaves an invisible and nourishing veil on the strands.

The fragrance journey of "Ginger 1974" begins with a fresh citrus note of bergamot and the pungent spiciness of ginger oil. These are joined by spicy, aromatic notes of fir balsam and sweet gourmand notes. Oak moss and white musk form a warm base, which is rounded off by the velvety note of suede.

The new unisex fragrances were created by French perfumer Cécile Zarokian.

Balmain 

The fashion house was founded in Paris shortly after the Second World War and quickly developed into one of the world's leading luxury fashion brands. Pierre Balmain, born in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne in 1914, initially studied architecture before turning to fashion. He worked for Edward Molyneux and Lucien Lelong and learned from the greats of his time.

The fragrances composed by perfumers based on Balmain's designs accompanied his fashion from the very beginning. The eau de toilette Jolie Madame thus became the symbol of Balmain's vision and at the same time the name of one of the label's perfume classics. Since 1974, hair care products as well as hairpieces and extensions have also been offered under the license Balmain Hair.

After Balmain's designs lost popularity from the end of the 1960s, he was forced to sell his fashion house in 1977. Despite this, he remained the house's head designer until his death in 1982.

The new fragrances are available in bottle sizes of 100 ml.
