"Carmina" by Creed: A Floral-woody Eau de Parfum That Celebrates the Courage of Women

With its new women's fragrance "Carmina", London-based perfume brand Creed celebrates women's allure and strength.

Top notes weave together spicy and fruity elements of pink pepper, saffron and black cherry, followed by a floral heart of May rose, peony and violet. The fragrance is anchored by a sensual base of warm amber, woody nuances of cashmere wood and a soft touch of musk.

Borrowing from the roots of the house of Creed, the fragrance "Carmina" draws its inspiration from the fashion sketchbooks of Henry Creed, passed down through generations within the Creed family. The composition aims to capture the spirit of fearless and passionate women as immortalized in these drawings - heroines, ready for their upcoming adventure.

Creed

Creed is considered one of the oldest independent perfume houses in the world. The brand was founded in London in 1760 by James Henry Creed and can look back on a history rich in tradition spanning more than seven generations. Even in the early years, Creed counted royal and aristocratic customers among its clientele. Emperor Napoleon III and his wife Eugénie as well as Queen Victoria and Emperor Franz Joseph were among the exclusive customers.

The company has been headquartered in Paris since 1854. Today, the management of the house is in the hands of Olivier Henry Creed, who continues the family business already in the sixth generation. Many fragrances from Creed are still mixed and bottled by hand.

The new fragrance is available in bottle sizes of 30 and 75 ml.
