From Vanilla to Incense: The "Vanilla Tanà" and "Muskaria" Extraits de Parfum From Gritti

The Italian label Gritti is expanding its collection Ivy with two new, highly concentrated unisex fragrances: "Vanilla Tanà" and "Muskaria", which were personally created by Luca Gritti.

Vanilla Tanà - Sweet sensuality with an exotic core

Warm, rich and intoxicating, Madagascar vanilla has long conquered perfumers. On a trip around the island, the master decided to explore the birth of a legend and study ancient techniques.

"Vanilla Tanà" is a spicy-floral homage to Madagascan vanilla, which has inspired perfumers for centuries. 

The composition combines the invigorating spiciness of pink pepper with the floral facets of vanilla orchid, white orchid and ylang-ylang. Various vanilla variants - from bourbon vanilla absolute to vanilla absolute - lend the perfume a creamy, warm core. The fragrance is rounded off with notes of amber, baobab and sandalwood, which combine with sweet tonka bean and white musk to gently round off the composition.

Muskaria - Spicy, warm and full of character

An incredibly elegant and mysterious fragrance that unfolds on the skin with a mysterious whisper, full of sensuality, beauty and charm.

"Muskaria" is a sensual and complex composition in which powerful spicy and woody facets come together.

The fragrance opens with fresh bergamot and aromatic spices, before sensual rose, the musky facets of ambrette and animalistic leather nuances emerge as the fragrance progresses. Finally, benzoin, patchouli, musk and vanilla provide a warm, earthy depth that is contrasted by notes of incense.

Part of the Ivy Collection

Both fragrances are part of the Ivy collection, which, according to Gritti, is intended to reflect his personality, passions and artistic ambitions.

The range already includes "You're So Vain", a fruity, aromatic fragrance with blackcurrant at its heart, "Beyond the Wall", which combines oriental echoes with modern freshness, and "Because I'm Free", a composition of candied fruits, tuberose and vanilla.
