Rear bumper

There are the ones in front, which are easily and readily picked up, whose fill level clearly drops ... and then there are the ones at the back, which always have to stand in the dark.
When they are rearranged, they are happy to be moved around, but if they are as slim as this beautiful bottle, then they are just squeezed in wherever there is space.
Well, that's what happened to my bottle, which actually became a "front nester" last week.
Why?
Because it was worn again and received 3 compliments.
In one day!!!
One of them at the hairdresser's ... unbelievable, isn't it? Where fragrance molecules rock ... hair care products simply smell phenomenal.

About the fragrance:
I know of no other fragrance that combines milk, iris and tea so skillfully and harmoniously.
Milk is slightly difficult for me because it makes me sick when I smell it. Nice example: Bianco Latte and Gioiosa. I find them both really creepy. The Beyond the Wall is completely different. Milk makes the fragrance creamier, but doesn't weigh it down.

Longevity:
The fragrance stays on me all day long. If I spray it on in the morning, I can still smell it on me in the evening. On clothes even 3 days later.

Silage:
The fragrance envelops you, but doesn't scream for attention.

A fragrance also has to "grab" me emotionally to become a favorite fragrance. This one has done it
When I wear it, I feel well-groomed, balanced and completely at ease.

My appeal to everyone:
Give the "back-benchers" a chance!

Love at first flick !!!

Soooo a beautiful fragrance.
Sprayed on and it immediately knocked my socks off.
A Smoother, fine spicy fragrance with a slight sweetness.
The tea chords are super perceptible.
The ginger I do not perceive at all.
Everything is so beautifully balanced and soft.
The drydown comparison with Alexandria 2 I can confirm.
But this fragrance is brighter and softer. The soft version of Alexandria 2.
Definitely unisex. Super wearable for both sides. So this fragrance is definitely for me a post-purchase candidate

Always a different impression

I've had Beyond the Wall as a sample to test several times now and I've always felt different feelings and impressions of the fragrance with every bottling and every new spray.

The fragrance is often compared to Alexandria II by Xerjoff. Admittedly, I could never understand that in the past.
For me, they were two completely different fragrances. Admittedly, I've changed my mind a bit over time and can understand these kinds of comments. They have some similarities, yes.
I even have to admit that I like Beyond the Wall better.

How can I put it...
in any case, the fragrance starts with a relatively powdery ginger note.
I've actually always noticed this, regardless of the bottling.
Sometimes I even perceive some oud, but sometimes not at all. Sometimes I always thought I could smell some vanilla or a kind of creamy lemon, but sometimes I didn't have this impression at all. The same goes for me with a certain peppery note.

As you can hear, this fragrance triggers quite a lot in me.
I find it very exciting because, as I said, I always get different scent impressions.

The heart note consisting of black tea, iris and milk is really well done and all three accords are already perceptible to me somewhere.
Over time, this interesting tea note comes through, along with a pleasant iris and a generally milky character.

Towards the end, it becomes slightly woody and lands mainly on a bed of lots of musk.

All in all, I really like this fragrance. It is somewhere pleasing, but at the same time somehow has rough edges.
Beyond the Wall from the house of Gritti meets my personal taste.

A feeling of happiness at the first spray

I got the fragrance as a blind buy.
When I applied the fragrance for the first time, I was so happy about the openig and was so excited about it.
The beautiful spiciness combined with the sweetness makes the fragrance super wearable and exciting.
One of the best Gritti fragrances in my opinion.

What kind of person are you?

I asked myself this question after reading up on this fragrance here and there.

As a self-confessed friend of the Xerjoff Alexandria range, I pricked up my ears when a connection to Alexandria II was mentioned.

I then bought the fragrance Blind.

Here is my answer to the question in the headline.

There is indeed a fragrance waiting for you behind the wall that immediately reminded (me) of Alexandria II.
But it is still completely independent, although I detect a comparable DNA in it.

I find it a little softer and not as powerful as the Alex. The H/S is also a little weaker. I was a little surprised by this, by the way, as it is an extrait... No matter!

It's a really beautiful and, above all, high-quality fragrance that doesn't need to hide behind the competition! Gritti has done a really good job here!

Answer to the question which one?

I would go with Gritti as it is more pleasing to me.
Price/performance clearly better.

In addition, Alexandria III is one of my favorite fragrances - so the Gritti fits perfectly into the collection.

Clear (test) recommendation for all those who can do something with the Alexandria DNA.
