I had to have it and then it was gone.
You are already a top fragrance.
I don't know what to do with you, as your H/S is cheeky.
I gladly laid down the €235 for the Gritti in the store.
I like this slightly medicinal aspect at the beginning, and the comparison to Alex2 is there when the fragrance moves towards DD.
I had simply hoped, based on the reviews here, that I would catch a fragrance similar to Alex2, but not one that radiates so incredibly like Alex2 does.
I would say: I wanted an "All Day Alexandria2".
In two sentences, I mentioned Alexandria 2 about 20 times, but the similarity is just undeniable.
The milk that is listed in the notes of Gritti makes the subtle difference in my eyes, and the musk at the end is not so overwhelming.
Thus, we have a great foundation for the colder days, a fragrance that one can feel comfortable with. Moreover, for those who are not into perfumes ;) it smells quite special.
A day after the purchase, the first real test should follow.
And after TWO hours, the absolute disillusionment:
WHERE IS IT?
I can't say if it's nose-blind or something.
I feel like I've never had the problem with a fragrance that I become nose-blind.
I simply did not perceive it at all, zero, nada.
Even the really generous sprays on my arms did not produce the hoped-for "miracle".
*If anyone has had different experiences - very good.
I can only speak for myself and my surroundings, the fragrance was only close to the skin after 2 hours.
After 3-4 hours, it was gone.
I also believe that it can certainly mature further, and in 3-6 months, everything might look different.
I have already been positively surprised before.
I just didn't have the patience this time.
As mentioned, I didn't want a fragrance that lasts 8 days and radiates like anything else.
But if it doesn't even last half a day, then the money is poorly invested for me.
I am only evaluating the fragrance here; whether it is copied or inspired does not matter, as the fragrance is a TEN for me.
Everything that follows as a parameter is insufficient.
Although the packaging/bottle is also great.
Beyond the Wall - Behind the Wall or Beyond the Wall:
I took a look behind it, but unfortunately, longevity and sillage are not hiding there either.
In conclusion, I would like to say:
I hope I made another Parfumo happy with the sale, far below NP :)
I mean that very seriously :)
Gritti moved out, Alex2 moved in, and I am more than satisfied, even if it happened through small detours.
After all, I was able to support a local perfumery :))
