Wolf in sheep's clothing..
I must be slowly realizing for myself that the Gritti brand is not my brand. No hits so far. Many boring, pleasing and many with poor durability, with a few exceptions that I didn't like because they were too masculine etc.. But I really like the flacons. Many fragrances are too similar to cheap designer perfumes, which have even better longevity. It's exactly the same with Because I'm Free ...
The fragrance is extremely similar to L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge, which I would even prefer if it were mine, but it's not. The scent is a mix of super sweet fruits and a bubblegum tuberose. Very girly and super mainstream, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but for the price you could just as easily go to the "green" store and get the L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge, which has great longevity and is much cheaper. The difference between the two fragrances is really minimal . However, as it progresses, the Gritti becomes sour and a touch green and becomes a bit burning/stinging, which I don't like. So, as always, a fragrance from the brand that is absolutely nothing for me.
