Fruity, Soft, and Indulgent: “Banana Rush” by Juliette Has A Gun
The French niche label Juliette Has A Gun is introducing “Banana Rush”, a new unisex fragrance that highlights a fruit rarely found in perfumery: the banana.
Banana Rush goes beyond the fruit's playful image to reveal a sophisticated, delicious, and sunny variation where the creamy sweetness of the banana meets the depth of maple syrup and the sensuality of vanilla.

The fragrance opens with a creamy, fruity blend of banana and maple syrup, setting a sweet, indulgent tone. At the heart, notes of frangipani and coconut follow, adding a soft, exotic depth. Finally, sandalwood and vanilla come together in the base. They enhance the existing sweetness, allowing the fragrance to fade into a sensual, warm finish.

Behind the new Eau de Parfum is Romano Ricci, founder of the label and great-grandson of Nina Ricci. His goal with “Banana Rush” was to reinterpret a note rarely found in perfumery and to remove the banana from its often playful context—moving toward a warmer and more sensual direction.
With Banana Rush, I wanted to reinterpret a fruit that had almost fallen into oblivion in the world of perfumery: the banana. Often perceived as ordinary or frivolous, it is rarely viewed in a sophisticated light. It was precisely this challenge that inspired me (...) The secret lies in combining the fruit’s sweetness with the depth of maple syrup and sandalwood. The addition of frangipani blossom, coconut, and vanilla transforms the fruit into something golden, sensual, and entirely new.

The new fragrance is available in 50-ml and 100-ml bottles.
