Opulent, Sensual and Sexy: The New Unisex Fragrance Etrango by J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin

"Opulent, Sensual and Sexy": The New Unisex Fragrance "Etrango" by J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin

With "Etrango", J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin introduces an Eau de Parfum that captures the vibrant atmosphere of Berlin in a citrus-floral bouquet.

Complex, pulsating, self-confident, uninhibitedly erotic and ravishingly outrageous - a perfume like Berlin itself. ETRANGO, the 11th fragrance by Schwarzlose Berlin, opens a kaleidoscope for all the senses and calls with every note nuance: Enter the vaudeville of fantasy.

Created by perfumer Véronique Nyberg, the composition opens with top notes of tangy bergamot, warm cumin and aromatic saffron. Then, the sensual notes of Damask rose and delicate jasmine blend with spicy garden carnation. Finally, the deep base note of cypriol, earthy oakmoss and sensual patchouli anchors the fragrance.

The fantasy name "Etrango" combines the French word "étrange" ('strange' or 'unknown'), the English term "strange" ('unusual' or 'odd') and "Tango". Inspired by the diversity of Berlin, the fragrance is intended to capture the facets of the big city in an olfactory way.

ETRANGO invites to the dance of metropolitan molecules, arouses curiosity for the unknown and leaves the ordinary behind.

The story of J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin began in 1856, when piano maker Johann Friedrich Schwarzlose decided to start a drugstore. Within a few decades, the small business became a purveyor to the court of the emperor and king, bringing more and more aristocrats to visit the new perfume store. The company expanded in Berlin and worldwide.

Due to the challenges Germany was facing at the time, the brand had to be restructured several times, resulting in regular reinventions.

After a period of inactivity, the brand was revived in 2012. Under the direction of perfumer Véronique Nyberg and creative director Lutz Herrmann, classic Schwarzlose fragrances were reinterpreted and new creations were added to the range.

The new fragrance is available in bottle sizes of 50 and 100 ml.
