Before founding his own perfume brand, Pierre Montale spent several years in the metropolises of Qatar and Dubai, where he developed bespoke fragrance creations for discerning private clients. His clients included members of the aristocracy, celebrities and even members of the royal family.

Although these commissions were successful, they did not meet Montale's personal preferences, so he returned to Europe. However, his wife encouraged him to continue following his passion as a perfumer. Thus, in 2003, Montale was founded - a brand that to this day draws inspiration from the rich perfume tradition of the Middle East and is known for oriental aromas and traditional fragrances.
