- MJ Legend is not nearly as overpowering as the aforementioned representatives and yet is strikingly similar. The fact that Legend is supposed to be an EdC is not evident in terms of longevity and sillage.
- Price: Legend is available for very little money.

Those who enjoy gourmand fragrances will surely not go wrong here - especially if extreme sweetness is off-putting. MJ Legend smells of coffee and chocolate, but is still wearable in everyday situations. A hidden gem.

Yes, I understand that Curve is one of the big bestsellers in men's perfumes. I also understand that, similar to Le Male, Joop, and others, a lot of flankers are being released - I have 6 of those things sitting around myself.

So why does the same manufacturer need to create more scents that copy the Curve DNA, clearly pass as flankers, and still be sold under different names, like in this case Claiborne Sport? Wasn't Curve Sport creative enough?

So Claiborne Sport is the classic Curve, with a bit more lemon, slightly lower longevity and sillage, and seemingly a bit longer-lasting top notes.

Whether every rock or country singer needs their own perfume is questionable. In any case, Phoenix has nothing to complain about in terms of quality - it aims to smell boozy, but actually does not, rather it is fruity with a vetiver note. It could possibly also be used in the office. The most similar is Southern Blend by Tim McGraw, and the regular Tim McGraw is not far off either. Longevity is absolutely okay at ~6h.

Watch out: The AfterShave Balm, on the other hand, is an absolute insider tip! Perhaps because it does not smell like the EdT for some inexplicable reason (?!), but rather fruity sweet yet still masculine. This is really good - unfortunately also really hard to find. If you see it, you should stock up.

Unfortunately, the fragrance was discontinued just under a year after its launch - it's a shame that this one was discontinued and not the dreadful Vintage.

And why did this happen? According to a well-informed source, it was due to the strong similarity to I am King by Sean John. Indeed, these two did smell alike - whether that is reason enough to discontinue the fragrance is another matter, after all, there are more than enough similarly scented perfumes on the market - and I am King has unfortunately also been discontinued by now.

And that's why there has never been a Rock Volume Vol.2, what a pity.

Not bad at all - sprayed the Liturgie des Heures from Jovoy on my wrist, then walked to the Louvre, and it was hardly detectable; half an hour later, it was completely gone. This is all the more surprising since it is a rough, incense-heavy scent that usually lasts forever on my skin. It wasn't my nose's fault either - my wife also confirmed that the fragrance was simply gone.

Niche or not - this shouldn't happen in the price range of 100 EUR - the scent is pleasant, though not outstanding, but with such a short longevity, it cannot convince.
