My perfume is in a clear square 30ml bottle with a black label named 1000 KISSES DEEP! Wear it in spring or autumn if you want to feel like an mandarin orange tree in bloom but also with quite a few heavy fruits at the same time. The first half hour is narcotically sharp with bitter orange almost. But then after 30 minutes or so you're there among all the mandarin orange trees! it's so unique and beautiful! Like wearing art!

The notes are sweet but not too sweet, as the berry, arctic raspberry. And I get a lot of black currant and a bit of tea too. In the heart and base it's berry cashmere woody, but the wood doesn't take over. I don't know how Eva does it but this honestly smells like my childhood summers in arctic part of Sweden and Finland. And this makes me think of the taste of cloudberry too. I haven't tried anything like it as I can remember. I love it, it really takes me back to the north somehow. I guess that's the difference between niche and designer made scents: It has soul!

A tropical/white floral/fruity scent. Not like any other scent I own. AND the banana note smells just like I want it, fruity sweet and fresh without being too much banana or gooey sweet. Fits perfectly in combination with star fruit as I find that it balances the sweetness of the banana. Good lastingpower too.

What a beautiful sun shaped bottle! I don't know what it's like for you? But for me who experience many new scents daily, and in addition to that have a large collection of just about "everything", it's difficult to get a powerful impression when testing something new! Or by all means if I pick up a favorite from the cool darkness of cabinets and drawers. But suddenly it happens! A newcomer to me, although it can be classified as "vintage" as it came in 2004, that´s 16 years ago (time flies!).

The most prominent note is PEARS! I would say yellow Anjou pears, very juicy and sweet, but not *too* sweet, but yes, perfect! Furthermore, I feel the acidity of yellow grapefruits. As well as just "that right amount" of gardenia, cherry blossoms and lilies which calm the fruity notes down perfectly.

Comparing it to "Oud Bouquet" by Lancome. The rose is clearly more dominant in "Oud Bouquet". While "Shaghaf Oud" is much sweeter with more praline, however, no overtaking oud. I'd say "Oud Bouquet" is more elegant & floral all through. And Shaghaf Oud has much more of the praline & feels sweeter over all. And yes they are veeery similar. I have a decant of "Oud Bouquet", and decided on a bottle of "Shaghaf Oud". The far better price of it where I live made me buy it. Longevity/Sillage/Projection: Beast mode!!
