Oceania, Waves where are you?

A fragrance that bears the name Oceania and is filled in a corresponding glass bottle that emphasizes this name - this scent should create a connection to the ocean, the sea.

Does it do that?

In my opinion, no.

Upon spraying, fine citrus notes are perceptible.

Quite quickly, something warm and strong comes in, gently accompanied by citrus notes.

A similarity to the base of Amber Star is recognizable to me, layered with a bit of Lemon Line from Mancera.

This is how Oceania smells, in my feeling.
What a pity
I expected something fresher, slightly cooler, more ocean.

#Amber Star # Lemon Line hihihi

Dama Bianca Play of Fragrance Molecules
Sprayed this morning around 7 AM, still present.
A warm, sweet, sensual cloud surrounds me.

Fine fragrance molecules that constantly change, like an LED light with changing colors

Vanilla and sweetness, muted in intensity by the malt note
citrusy-floral-sweet, the bouquet of flowers from the heart note,
Jasmine, a hint of lilac gently recognizable,
because it is mentioned in the fragrance pyramid - added on 17.7.21
creamy-lemony

A piece of wood, drizzled with juice from an overripe lemon

A brief flash of a smoky note that unfortunately reminds me of smoked bacon.
But quickly the finesse of the fragrance returns, warm creamy sweetness, sensuality

overall a small Xerjoff masterpiece.

I tested this fragrance for the first time today and I like it.
I read the comments and statements afterwards, so I wouldn't be negatively or perhaps too positively biased.

Close to the skin and no sillage is incomprehensible to me; with every movement, Dama Bianca moves along and not unnoticed.

Katalina wrote the following in her statement:
So beautiful!
Fruity jumble, powdery flower meadow, creamy musk-vanilla cloud.
Body heat renews in waves for hours.

This is very accurate and fits Dama Bianca perfectly,

sensual-warm, creamy, citrusy-floral-sweet

I quoted Katalina's statement verbatim because it is so accurate and thank you for the agreement

We must be patient, then it won't take long
So sang Xavier in some song.

The first spray and sniff on my wrist was a shock, no uuh
Like dog poop, a musty cellar where a workshop used to be, still lingering with old oil residues, petroleum, in the air.

This inability to wash it off requires patience,
yes, to be patient,
to wait,
to give it a chance.

I researched this Cypriol, it is described among other things as particularly earthy, agarwood-like.
That must be the note causing this foul smell.

I still remember, many years ago when we played on the streets as kids.
When the street was dug up, it smelled extremely earthy too. We kids perceived that smell as poopy.
This unpleasant perception fades quite quickly, already within the next few minutes.

Then a smell of old burnt oil, or petroleum, remains very dominant and briefly extremely piercing.
I sniff at my wrist at short intervals.
For a moment I'm reminded of licorice, but only briefly.

Slowly a hint of sweet flowers comes to my nose.
They are fighting against this petroleum-like stubbornness.
More and more sweet lightly powdered flowers appear.
They are pushing through. They are trying to drive away this horror-burnt-old-oil-petroleum smell.
The sweet flowers begin to fill the space. Right at the sprayed spot, they are still battling with the unpleasant aroma.
After about 50 minutes, this is still noticeable.

But the enchanting flowers are winning. They dance like dust particles in a sunbeam. A sweet warm floral spray rain.
Figuratively, a bowl filled with this burnt oil horror, into which small ground sweet enchanting flowers are sprinkled with a pinch of powder, warmed and illuminated by a sunbeam. Warm sweet enchanting.
More and more flowers more more more.
The flowers are winning.

I don't perceive the flowers as tuberose, as I know them from other fragrances, but they are wonderful.

No sticky sweetness.
A warm dry sweetness.
Addictive, for lovers of sweet scents.

Gradually, the last unpleasant note is pushed aside.

What remains is sweet warm enchanting
An incredible sillage surrounds me.

I wrote my statement after the initial shock of getting to know it.
I didn't wash it off. I'm glad about that now.

We must be patient

The phoenix from the ashes has awakened.

A masterpiece

Black Swan or rather white?
Bright, friendly, dreamy scent cloud.
Light and delicate like the fluttering of a butterfly

One spray, I smell nothing.
A scent cloud forms and unfolds, like foam from a can.

It is a wonderful soft-creamy mild lemon sweetness, the lemon scent that arises when a lemon peel is grated, without any fruit acidity.

I think of the little red lollipops that used to cost 2 pfennigs, with a light green stick.
Dipped such a lollipop into a vanilla cream pudding, a bit of lemon zest on top and a little Bebe cream.
That's what comes to mind with this scent.

The fragrance is as gentle and light as butterfly wings touching the skin.
Wonderful, a dream cloud, bright, it has nothing that I can associate with the word Black.

Black Swan is very reminiscent of Une ville, un parfum Moscow
The Black Swan is perhaps a bit sweeter.
Moscow is a bit heavier.

Moscow, the big sister
Black Swan the little one
Prima Ballerina also belongs to this family

After about 2.5 - 3 hours, the similarity to Moscow becomes even more pronounced.
This mild creamy delicate lemon note and the warm gentle vanilla.

Yes, the three are related, Une ville un parfum Moscow, Black Swan, and Prima Ballerina.
Close your eyes, grab one of them and scent yourself, you can't go wrong with that.

Black Swan
bright fine noble
delicate-creamy mild-lemony restrained-sweet
dreamy cloud scent

The Shooting Star with the Warm Woody-Delicate-Citrus Trail
I am a lover of Amber Star and Star Musk; once sprayed, these two are unmistakable and impossible to ignore.

From time to time, I sample smaller amounts of Xerjoff fragrances; many of these samples still need to be tested, and I need time for that.

Around January of this year, I sniffed Polar Stars for the first time; nothing came through, no connection was established.
The little shooting star was set aside for a while.

Recently, with the summer temperatures, I sprayed it a second time.

Ooh, the shooting star has appeared on the horizon and surrounds me; immediately, there is devotion.

My first impression: delicate creamy lemon mixed with a noble wood,
woody powdered citrus sprinkles - grated lemon peel - softened with ebony and musk powder.

I think more of Italy than of Polar.
Years ago, I was in Porto St. Elpidio and Porto St. Giorgio, in a house with very dark wooden beams, dark glossy marble furniture, and many terraces and balconies with plants. Unfortunately, I can no longer remember which plants. But the scent of Polar Stars reminds me of those places and the house; it must have smelled similar.

The citrus components of Polar Stars are enveloped and softened by violet and rose, along with warm, caressing, powdery musk.

A very subtle fragrance, it merges with the skin and is distinctly present; I perceive it with every movement.
When I sit in the summer breeze, this little fragrant shooting star surrounds me.

This Polar Stars has something incredibly special.
Close to the skin, I wonderfully detect another note: gently warm, indefinable for me.
Could it be the blending of the fragrance notes with the chemistry of my own skin?
I must think of "Perfume" by Süskind.

In the evening, as it got dark and the stars came out, I took it to bed with me; it was allowed to rest on my neck.
In the morning, while making coffee in the kitchen, I stood in its, or rather my own, scent cloud; it got up with me, delicate and reserved, not a bit intrusive;
Polar Stars has endurance, subtle, but durability is given.

And now this unique shooting star resides with me. I love and adore it.
Thanks to the grand perfumer who created it and to the lovely Parfuma who let it travel to me.

wonderfully fine subtle endurance
perfect merging with the skin
