The lemon fragrance par excellence.
I have known Monsieur Balmain for many years. At that time it was still available in a slim yellow bottle with a lemon yellow cap. I smelled the scent on someone else and asked what kind of scent it was.

Monsieur Balmain was not so easy to buy in every perfumery. That was something special. And this lemon scent is uniquely fresh and yellow, and not just flown away. Lemon and lemon again. My favorite fragrance.

This fragrance is something for men with pure soul who like light and sun. It stands for cleanliness and freshness. An excellent fragrance, which unfortunately is no longer produced

Penetrating and synthetic. Neither citric nor fresh.
TheRalle has written: "For me nothing smells like a male classic! Terrible synthetic soup made of plastic flowers and plastic apple! If you are interested please contact me and sell it ""

That's true. I also think the same way about Sheikh -Eau de Parfum, which is praised by Al Haramein as a pure men's fragrance. There's nothing citric about this perfume. That's a clue for blind buyers who like citric scents. Forget it.

Sheikh smells unchanged for me from the first spray until several hours later. I washed it right off the skin because I didn't like it at all. On a paper handkerchief I was the only one who noticed the Minzig-Mentholige from the fragrance list, quite weakly. Otherwise, like DerRalle, I would describe it as a synthetic soup made of plastic apple and plastic flowers. I was similarly disappointed by the purple Sung Homme by Alfred Sung.

I find ratings like "Spitzenduft - I was even asked what it's called" completely incomprehensible. Never ever would I get the idea of talking to anyone about Sheikh. I'd rather hold my breath.

To the flacon: Deceptive packing it probably hits quite well. 85 ml in a latticed (lattice is from plastic in the metal look) bottle. which comes along in a giant cardboard. With the simultaneously purchased Aramis with 110 ml content, the outer packaging is only half the size.

Conclusion: bad buy. Penetrating and synthetic.
