Lalique White Lalique 2008 Eau de Toilette

A naturalistic cloud of stem intact lemon leaf, and zingy tamarind fruit... Opens up to a generous seasoning of white pepper...And enveloped in a gauzy, clean-linen musk. The opening breath of Lalique White is soulful and eloquent in it's botanical realism. And sober, yet optimistic, in it's sun warmed clothesline cleanliness. The progression of accords are slow and subtle throughout. The "mid" sets the stage for a trio of nutmeg, violet, and cardamom. Which, as the fresh linen occassionally peels away, will meld -to create a fantastic and (elusive) dry, nutty, curry spice that tingles my palate. While only traces of lemon leaf will remain... consistent with an amber and (dry) cedar “base”... awaiting, dusk. A barely-there (but noteworthy) oakmoss, manages to lend both “occasion”, and much needed “masculinity” to this sunny, but softly diffused entry from Lalique.

True, the gentleness of this fragrance may come across too unisex for those with bold masculine tastes. But even then, Lalique White remains an elegant expression of Masculinity for the right occasions. It is simply, beautiful.

This is an outstanding fragrance (in the "Designer" Class) on the whole. My first ever encounter with this talented perfumer...

Soapy pepper, sour tamarind, neutral soil-like violet, and standard modern musk. This is what you get after the radiant steampunky sporty opening of White settles. This perfume has a special way of spices and citruses. It's frosty, minimalist, straight, exceptional and unfortunately underestimated.
White has strong resemblance to Clive Christian V for men that everyone hesitate to indicate for the sake of luxury! But honestly this perfume doesn't lack any from that so-called niche creation.

Lalique White is a citrus aromatic fragrance for men released in 2008 by luxury art house Lalique and created by Christine Nagel.

White has a kind of spicy earthy scent, you can feel the lemon leafs the Cedarwood and Oakmoss create a nice woods atmosphere, it smells raw on the first spray like lemon leafs ripped from the tree or lemons freshly harvested into a basket on a dewy morning.

This fragrance has a vivid effect, refreshing and uplifting but at the same time puts you at ease and relaxed.

One of the few fragrances I know that uses the tamarind note. Tamarind is a fruit/legume that produces a citrus sweet and sour paste with notes of smoke and caramel. With a sweetness like lemonade it has many uses around the world including on fragrances and cosmetic, food, beverage and even to polish metal.

This tamarind note, the elemi resin, the white pepper, the lemon leafs, garnish this scent with that raw feeling of natural ingredients, a very green spicy aroma, wrapped in a creaminess woodsy and slightly floral aura. If you're a fan of fragrances like John Varvatos Artisan Pure or L'Eau D'Issey this is a must have.

Lalique White is very clean, gentle and inoffensive and yet mysterious, because something in it makes it unique, it has texture, character, it's artistic and well balanced.

Projection is quite nice for the first hour and half. It develops to a calming almost balsamic scent on the dry down and can last you easily 7 to 8 hours on skin.

WOW, Amazing fragrance, Fresh, Bright, Clean, Elegant and Unique. I am a big fan of the house of Lalique. The name of White is a symbol like Man's White shirt. This is a great fragrance from Lalique and Christine Nagel, It has high quality composition and well-blended. You can't go wrong with it. It opens up with like fresh citrusy and slightly spicy then dry down is musky woody. The White Pepper and The Lemon Leaf notes are dominant in this perfume. It is suitable for the spring and summer, l really enjoy it and I love Lalique White EDT for Men. I'm so happy that I have it in my collection, Highly Recommended.

A citrus that's not the typical blue scent for a nice change.. I might get some flack for this, but this fragrance reminds me a lot of silver mountain water from Creed, but this is a little bit more playful than silver mountain water. This is a very nice, metallic citrus summer scent that's very refreshing and nice..a prefect signature scent...
