I had no idea...
... what vintage icon I'm dealing with here.

1 year ago at the flea market, I rummaged through a box of miniatures including OVPs.
Hmm, flashy vintage cardboard, mini still full. I'll take it with me. :-)

Fortunately, I hadn't opened it yet either.

Now I know what we're dealing with.

Same league as Aigner's Superfragrance for Men or Mark Cross Edt.

Quick-change artists and deceivers of your senses
I would like to say a few words about this controversial scent.

It's my first Creed fragrance, Batch 2011.
I find it to be fruity, spicy, woody, orientally sweet. But it's also heavy.
He has quite development and does not remain monotonous.

It starts with a ripe sweet, very tasty orange paired with the pungency of ginger.
The fruity sweetness stands here in the foreground.
So far not bad.

Now the delusion begins.
In the middle part I can agree with Meggi, the lavender in this form strongly gives the impression of "Joop Nightflight".
Peppermint and spices quickly join in.
Central component seems to be the juniper berry, which is not disturbing at all but present.
The typical beery-smoky Creed DNA is revealed.
Has the scent been changed? It is no longer present in the current pyramid.

Over time, the fragrance becomes softer,
the berry gives way more to the woods, vanilla and amber.
Delusion of senses Part II begins:
In fact, after 1-2 hours you can already see nuances of Joop Homme.
But: by far not as killing and penetrating as the pink nervtöter.
Rather a subtle, improved, finer version for gentlemen.

I don't know Montblanc Individually, but I can imagine that it doesn't come close to the Creed in terms of quality.

In summary, no bad incense at all with playing, alternate facets that has similarities after DryDown to Joop Homme.

That one tears up the smell and evaluates badly I cannot understand.

Legendary mainstream fragrance icon, an insider tip and unmatched to this day
I must confess in his lifetime, the scent completely passed me by.
Through parfumo I became aware of him and ordered a small filling of the already high-priced scent.
Thus 4€/ ml are quite estimated.

At auction houses it reached used almost 500€ for 50ml. Insanity!

If you consider that it is a limited mainstream fragrance that cost 55 Euro. It's not Gucci Envy or anything like that.

At this point a big thank you to the nice parfumo who left me his bottle fair !

The scent:
It's an Eau de Toilette Intense, and he keeps it that way. 7-8 hours loosely on the skin. 10-12+ on the clothes.
It is a cuddly, creamy warm autumn/winter scent which is especially suitable for going out or for nice occasions like a date or candlelight dinner
He plays the charmer and he can do that well.
In any case he enchanted my nose very much in winter.

The scent itself smells like a creamy vanilla shake, the whipped cream almost flies around you. Bourbon vanilla, not simple. It's not in the pyramid, though. Either it is an ingenious sensory delusion by the other fragrances or it is simply not called.
Wormwood, leather and oud (not very present at all) do the rest and give the fragrance a sophisticated complexity.

I could rave about this smell for a very long time.
There is also nothing comparable, also no Dupe.

Who has a bottle of this fragrance: keep it well, it is worth it.

Notices like a colorful dog - scent and bottle - powerful pepper rose resin under the lid !
The only place where you won't notice this scent, I can imagine, is on a spice bazaar.
Otherwise, however, pretty much everywhere, whether you like it or not.
It is loud, opulent, conspicuous and full of resinous roses.

It starts with a resinous peppery pear and quickly turns into a strong, synthetically spicy sweet rose fragrance.
It finally remains even with a peppery (woody) resinous-spicy sweet rose (overload) fragrance.
Yes, the resin plays an important role in the whole process and is clearly present.
I'm not a fan of rose scents anyway, but here it is too much of a good thing.
Where the rose is usually paired with oud, this time it enters the relationship with resinous pepper.

Buy?
A clear no.

I mean, who wants to smell like resinous sweetly glued roses?

Sweet aromatic aquatic summer flanker 2010
Diesel fragrances are usually recognized immediately. You don't have the best reputation, either.
The fistflacons and their target group certainly contributed a lot to this. You don't say "diesel yourself" for nothing either.

This fragrance is the Summer Edition 2010 of the Original Diesel Fuel for Life. A summer scent you won't find much about on the internet.
Diesel went a different way with this Flanker, however, and gave a completely independent fragrance independent of the original Fuel for Life. Not only a lighter variation of the original like the Summer Edition 2009, but this makes it unique in the whole range.

I don't like the original very much with the raspberry in the center, too prickly, remarkably sweet synthetic. Had the jeans version once.

Sweet and aromatic anise with light liquorice nuances mixed with verbena. The sweet, delicious aniseed accompanies you clearly into the heart note and resonates throughout the entire fragrance process. He knows how to please in his aromatic way.

The heart note is the fresh, soapy lavender paired with "frozen" aquatic notes. Yes, the aquatic also appears here in connection with the anise.
This plays quite well together in the nose, also with the colour of the bottle. This is accompanied by woody spicy notes with vetiver in the base.

The fragrance is fairly linear, but has its own distinctive diesel summer DNA. I like this one.

Of course he has a synthetic sweet diesel DNA that not everyone will like. A saying remained in my memory: "It is a fragrance that you can smell gladly and well at others, but never buy it yourself" Whether this is the case here is up to everyone to decide for themselves. I got it because it is very rare and hard to find today. He's been circling around in my head with his eye-catching color for some time now.

Besides Fuel for Life Spirit (also a completely independent fragrance) this Diesel Flanker has now also moved into my collection.

The prices are, if you get one, usually between 100-150 euros for 75ml settled. Whereby it cost at that time approx. 60 euro.
