Black Wisp
Black Afghan starts as a pitch black smoke bomb, like fresh from the pyre, intense, but not screaming and scratchy. A campfire in the pine forest. Zero synthetics noticeable, pure natural smell of burnt wood. In the course, the smoke thins out and reveals the underground glow of an unobtrusive resinous sweetness in the depth.

Unfortunately, it is from start to finish skin deep, even with many sprays. So rather what for private enjoyment than for everyday life, because you have to push other people already with the nose on it, in the truest sense of the word. I had to get it for the scent alone, but the gorgeous constellation of black logs quickly collapses, crumbles to ash and is blown away by the night wind. A scent like a campfire with the sillage and longevity of a tea light, alas, alas. A fragrance for the moment, a brief, fantastic flash, a will-o'-the-wisp in the forest, which quickly escapes the senses again, but burns itself into the olfactory memory as a pleasant reminder.

Black Afghan is a unique perfume, for me one of the best fragrances of Mad et Len, along with "Graphite" and "Red Square".
