Ice? I don't think so.
It's supposed to be a refreshing cologne and when you first spray it your nose could be foolished.

A blast of citrus and a cold sharp lavender take you by surprise and the first impression it's really promising.

But the promise lasts nothing but a few minutes.

The brand's official website announces: "Citrus and lavender freshness. Amber sensuality, between notes of musk and neroli". I agree with the "citrus and lavender freshness" part, but the rest of the description is far from what I can smell.

I perceive Chester Ice as a concoction of random aromachemichals: something sweet, something bitter, something warm, and a plastic vibe all around.

The brand seems to use some notes or fixatives in all of their fragrances (masculine and feminine) that I find particularly annoying.

Despite of the synthetic general vibe and my personal perception, Chester Ice doesn't smell bad. But I don't think that it could be classified as a fresh fragrance because the "Ice" in the name is far from faithfully describing what you are going to smell.

Piney failure.
The current iteration is an horrible mishmash that tries to be something in between Pino Silvestre and Vetiver de Guerlain, not succeeding in the effort.
Harsh, pornographically synthetic and with a miserable performance.
Thirty years ago used to be some respectable 'dupe' for Pino Silvestre but not anymore.
