Citrusy tobacco note
Much of Naxos heard and read - so ordered a sample. For me - purely personal - and on my skin it looks rather masculine. With me the bergamot with tobacco comes out insanely. In the Drydown I can guess honey and a certain sweetness with a lot of fantasy, but then the lemon and tobacco is very present. It reminds me of my father - although his fragrance was Fahrenheit from Dior, as my mother just told me. It just reminds me of him - I immediately had to think of him rolling his cigarettes in the 90's... for me as a woman Naxos is not my favourite (I want to emphasize: on my skin it's nothing for me) - but I can imagine him great on men :) Nevertheless I will track him down on female acquaintances, friends, family as I am curious how he will develop there :)

Almond dreams
Through a scent sample that I recently received, I was able to test Almond Harmony. Probably this will be my first House of Oud fragrance. Thick, sweet almond, vanilla and tonka bean - a pre-Christmas fragrance dream. One or two sprayers are quite sufficient and it's raining compliments (had him on it and was addressed 4 times within 2 hours, despite the minimum distance!) - I think it should be used with caution and it can definitely become too much as soon as you spray it over. Also the durability is great, I notice it even after more than 6-7 hrs. on me and that not only very close. sweet, gourmand, just dream a dream - who likes it.

unisex!
Herod conquered my heart - I am of the opinion, whether for men or women declared - everyone should wear what one likes. Normally I belong as a woman in the absolute gourmand fragrance. But I also like smoky scents like by the fireplace by maison margiela, tobacco vanilla by Tom ford, bibliotheque by byredo... herod has a spicy smoky note, but not at all scratchy. I also smell a slightly sweet cherry with vanilla. Cherry plum? And the vanilla refined with light cinnamon? In my opinion, it is exactly this combination that makes it absolutely unisex. If you think spicebomb from v & r is too spicy, here is the softer version in my opinion. Suitable for everyday use but also perfect for the evening. It radiates warmth and looks sophisticated without being overpowering. Big recommendation!

Hi, Ani!
i received my scented mail today and was very excited about Ani. I sprayed and my first thought was "oh no... 70s patchoulie with a green note..." but it didn't last 30 seconds on my skin and I noticed light bergamot and vanilla. Shortly afterwards followed the scent "lemon cake", as so often described. But no extreme lemon. Gently with icing sugar. Soft. Creamy. I'm sure you and I are friends - you surprised me. My best friendships were formed when I thought I couldn't stand someone - that's how I felt with Ani. The first moment "phew" and the second "oooh"

Cradled in the cradle
1992 - my year of birth. I had "discovered" it some years ago and I immediately had the feeling that I knew the scent. I couldn't put it in any order except that it gave me a feeling of security. I was proud as anything when I bought it from my first salary. The next days I told my mother again and again about my new fragrance and that I had to show it to her the next time I visited her. After all, she loves perfumes just as much as I do - I was practically born with it ;) So the next time I visited my mum I showed her my new achievement: she laughed and said "I wore Venezia non-stop when you were about three quarters of a year old" - I was amazed. So I had to know him. And all the better to confirm again that we associate scents with moments, memories, moods, emotions, etc. For me, he is to some extent my mother at my current age, the 90's, because I remember Laura biagotti advertisements in retrospect... uncomplicated and not contemporary. I'd still like to smell him again.
