This scent catapults me back about 23 years - I was 5 years old at that time. In the garden of my parents and grandparents. The old apple tree, which no longer exists today, has borne fruit, some are already lying in the warm grass. I perceive all colours of the garden intensively colourful. A dragonfly flies past me, then around me and dances past the flowerbed. My dad, who is also no longer here, tells me stories about dragonflies. There are blue and green ones. Unfortunately, I don't know any more. But I thought of it immediately when I smelled this perfume for the first time - and only noticed afterwards how appropriate this name was chosen for this fragrance.
Also its durability is enormous on my skin and radiates properly. I have to wear it carefully, otherwise I have the feeling that it becomes too much for me. Not because it is heavy but despite everything I feel crushed by its fruity warmth. I wouldn't want to miss it under any circumstances, but I wear it with care.

oh pom grenade noir. I love that smell. There were years when I wore it in every season - I didn't care if it was minus degrees or + 35°c ... now I only wear it in the evening, on cold, dark days. For me it radiates extravagance, eroticism and self-confidence. Absolutely no blind-buy, because it is special, mystical, dark, autumnal wet grey, a little berry, tart, spicy and woody. He was allowed to move in with me two or three times already and will probably always have a place in my collection (& perfume hearts). Durability is good for a Malone, lasts for 7-8 hours

With a 5ml bottling I finally had the chance to test this fragrance. I can fully agree with this - it smells like Christmas. But not this kitschy kind of Christmas - but elegant, sweet, spicy, real. Also, as some others mention, I perceive a slight cinnamon note. I would classify Angelique Noir as a private, intimate scent, because after about 2 hours you only perceive it very close. I have never had a pictorial idea when smelling a scent - here I have one: I look out of a slightly icy window of a wooden hut, outside there is snow and it is snowing. It's already dark, the fireplace is on and I have a cuddly blanket around my shoulders, enjoy a fine hot chocolate with cinnamon, cardamom and smell a subtle biscuit spice. A fragrance to feel good, as it evokes winterly cosiness in me!

I was so incredibly curious about this fragrance experience and I was by no means aware that this would really be an experience. A fragrance that everyone feels everybody talks about and yet is not to be found everywhere. I ordered a sample, because unfortunately there was no perfumery near me that had baccarat. First of all I have to say that I know many niche scents - therefore also extraordinary scent compositions that you don't smell every day. But Baccarat is really different! At first I thought "interesting". But I wasn't sure how I should rate this "interesting". Then I thought it was good, and shortly afterwards I thought "oh no, it's not mine at all", as this slightly medical game was new territory for me. I was disappointed BUT - here comes the thing - I couldn't stop smelling it. Even if I moved and perceived the smell again on myself, I was surprised. And I liked it more and more - and now, yes now I adored it. I think Baccarat Rouge 540 is something you have to get to know, let it work, reflect. It is sweet, woody, medicinal and after a while warm. It is so difficult to describe him and I think that is exactly what makes him so magic! For me personally, it stays on my skin for an incredibly long time - I always take a shower in the evening before going to bed and spray myself with perfume. The next day I can still feel it and it surprises me again and again!

My very first evaluation, I hope you are not too strict with me ;) I had (almost) the complete range of Jo Malone fragrances and few were bought again. Among others dark amber & ginger lily. I can clearly smell the pink pepper and have learned to love it with this fragrance. I like the spicy components and its warmth. I like to wear it in autumn, on wet and cold days. The shelf life is alright - I estimate 6 hours - but more would be too much for me personally, so it's perfectly alright and cozy once its spicy and light (but quite pleasant pungency has gone).
