Do you know that feeling? Some perfumes are simply linked to certain situations and remain forever associated with them...

There are different "death stages" for a perfume...room spray, bed sheet scent, toilet, or the downgrade to guest toilet, diaper bin, or trash can spray! Once a perfume has entered this death zone and has been used for that purpose, it will never again be a fragrance that is enjoyed wearing!

But wait! That doesn't happen here unless you are a tonka bean hater!
I love tonka bean in perfume...I wear this scent every time I go to the spa :)
Once, even a lady swam after me in the whirlpool and asked me about the fragrance...she said I smelled so wonderfully delicious that she had to know what it was :)

This cozy, warm scent is a real treasure in my collection!

In search of a Bal d‘Afrique layering candidate, I stumbled upon this treasure! After 1 1/2 bottles of Byredo, I really almost cried that I could only perceive this wonderful scent for a maximum of half an hour (p.s. My surroundings, upon request, couldn't smell it either.... for those who might point out my potential “olfactory adaptation” // in German / smell blindness :)) The Ginger-Lily is more aggressive at the start, but that settles down after 10 minutes, leaving a wonderful fresh hint that I can perceive for the next 2-3 hours. The body lotion is even nicer and not at all scratchy! Together, they are a dream! I can even smell the fragrance on my clothes after a day... Price-performance is top! For “everyone” whose heart was broken by Bal d‘Afrique, this is a great comfort!

I fell so in love with the comments here that I ordered a bottle blindly! Who wouldn’t want to appear feminine and attractive!? Unfortunately, the scent develops into a powdery lilac cloud on me! And I must say that I’m not a big fan of lilac! I also read that Afrodite reacts a lot to skin chemistry, so one should pay attention to a "balanced" diet due to the pH value... so that the pheromones can unleash their magic... the "OUT" came when my husband said that this scent smells like "Rosamunde Pilcher" :))) and of course I had to laugh and question this. He said "for more mature ladies." Yes, maybe you really need a certain maturity for this scent, and it’s like with orchids: with some, they thrive beautifully, and with others, they wilt!

It is one of those vacation days that doesn't start off sultry warm. Freshly showered, everyone heads to the breakfast buffet ... the first encounter is with a young lady .. she wears her long hair down and slightly wavy as she always twists it into a high bun on top of her head while sleeping. She has on a white cotton dress with a clever opening at the back. Her skin has a beautiful bronze shimmer as she has been able to enjoy the sun for a week now ... she has a freshly squeezed orange juice in her hand ... in the lobby, there is a large vase with white flowers and a light musk scent envelops the room ... everything blends into a melange ... and you wonder if the young lady wore Good Girl the night before ...?
A beautiful scent indeed reminds me of Good Girl, just greener and fresher. It lasts all day and has an incredibly good sillage.

This dragon is a temple dweller. Somewhere high up in the mountains in a foreign land. The monks lay roses and blossoms on the altar where the dragon rests. Every day, cedar, amber, and patchouli are gently smoked so that a veil surrounds the temple. He is not a large dragon; he is the size of a dachshund. The legend says that he lives in the temple with the monks to bring harmony to people. Thus, it is not uncommon for someone who encounters him and brings him treats like almonds, chocolate, or caramel to receive a loving kiss in return. Lighthearted, he then went about his daily life with this aura, and a hint of the dragon was his companion. And whenever someone became overheated from stress or haste, the dragon would breathe harmony into him ;)
