Kai Porten's “Beach Klub” - The Long Night on the Beach

With "Beach Klub" Kai Porten presents his third perfume - a creation designed to capture the atmosphere of a beach night.

Developed by perfumer Miguel Matos, "Beach Klub" blends dark leather accents with the sweetness of tropical fruits. Contrary to what the name suggests, the fragrance does not focus on the fresh, summery notes of a simple beach party, but on the darker, heavier impressions of a night out dancing by the sea.

A wonderful night on the beach

From the very first spray, "Beach Klub" unleashes an exotic accord of sun-ripened bananas. According to Kai Porten, this unique composition evokes the impression of luxurious sun cream. In the heart, it then develops into a creamy, spicy blend with nuances of leather, vanilla and aromatic herbs, reminiscent of a long evening full of adventure, raw sounds and surprises. The base note lends the perfume a sensual depth: smoky wood accords and dark leather create a feeling of warmth reminiscent of a crackling campfire on the beach. This also reveals the special character of the fragrance - it shows its almost mystical, profound side.

"Beach Klub" should not only impress with its uniqueness, but also with its parallels to electronic music.

I wanted a fragrance that didn't just smell like sun cream, but like a techno party on the beach.

What techno could smell like: Kai Porten's olfactory vision

What does a techno party on the beach smell like? Kai Porten, himself a passionate techno listener, asked himself this question for this fragrance project. He wanted to combine the pulsating energy of electronic music with the lightness of a summer night by the sea - captured in a perfume.
In his search for the perfect partner for this idea, he met Miguel Matos at the TFWA Festival in Cannes, who is not only known for his extraordinary creations, but is also a big fan of electronic music himself. Their shared enthusiasm for music and fragrances quickly led to a creative collaboration.

The result: a perfume that reflects the feeling of a night out dancing by the water. But that's not all: another fragrance, "Rose Sherbet", inspired by a similar setting but with a completely different scent, is due to be launched in the spring. Kai Porten was so impressed by both creations that he decided to pursue both fragrance concepts further.

Kai Porten - From fragrance influencer to own fragrance house

With this creation, Kai Porten is adding another exciting facet to its portfolio. After "Oud 31" and "Cherry X" he once again demonstrates his flair for unusual fragrance concepts. "Beach Klub" is a tribute to long party nights, fire, music and the feeling of boundless freedom - captured in a fragrance that carries the essence of these moments.
