And yet an end to the search
In almost all points I can only connect to my Vorschreiber.
Also for me, this is the first comment, and then even to this fragrance.
It's hard for me to believe that there are only one or two posts about Emperial Green. I have enjoyed myself through probably 150 different fragrances, always looking for a fresh work without synthetic aftertaste, or Beigeschmack, as is unfortunately also often the case.
And I have found it.
After the acquisition of many warm, wintry fragrances, herbaceous, which also fit into the spring and autumn, or insane all-rounders like Layton by PdM, after sweet-oriental, classics like Egypt Dreams by Tabac and artful, such as J'Ose by Eisenberg, I have hereby encountered a sweet-fresh masterpiece.
The first sniff after spraying it on carried me away, to a wistful summer evening nearly a decade ago. Without question, the scent opens with mandarin and lavender, though I rarely smell those out in combination with other oils. The tonka bean is subtly and slightly tart always there for me, from the beginning to (almost) the end, 9 hours later. The mandarin slips into a slightly warmer orange blossom within the first hour, very post-pyramid. There always seems to be a certain powderiness to my nose as well, though I haven't found any encouragement for it yet. And time passes until, after many hours, there's just a tart, warm, seductive ambrox, at least I recognize it in the vein of synthetic (or real, who knows) ambergris notes that have already been deposited as base notes in other fragrances. For lovers of ambergris, I recommend Theta from the Svea fragrances here, which hardly encounter any reputation online, perhaps because it's new, or because its marketing is strange.
Emperial Green is advertised as a unisex fragrance, I can totally agree with that. I'm a big fan of fragrances with feminine connotations, it's just that I don't dare wear them myself.This is a wonderful fragrance for men too!
I look forward to spring and summer, in which this fragrance finally comes into its own.
