The little brother of Extremé
Today my package from notino arrived, and this fragrance was included.
The flacon and the packaging promised a lot.
In the end, I was not disappointed, but I immediately knew that this is the new interpretation of Allure Homme Sport Extreme, only this is more of the "niche" version. Much rounder and softer, but also somewhat greener.
Unfortunately, the longevity of both fragrances is absolutely terrible; after 4-5 hours, there's nothing left to smell.
That's a real shame because it's a lovely scent, but it's not worth the retail price of €200.
Thank goodness I paid less than a third of that, so it was okay.

Definitely a nice summer fragrance, somehow reminds me of the vineyards of Italy.
Edit: After testing it multiple times, I notice a very metallic note in the drydown that is quite unusual. It smells like cold, fresh metal.

The Tragedy of the Imperial Lord Greeny
The Tragedy of the Green Lord
Is that it costs so much.
So if you want a snort of the Lord
You have to pay them such!

But than there comes another Lord
From another holy land!
And this lord is of the same sort,
But costs not so much sand!

Oh Lord oh lord, how could you,
how could you be so cheesy?
To copy his style without effort,
and make it seem so easy?

If the two, yes if both Lords,
would meet on the same green.
You can be sure, believe me that,
they would laugh on their knees.

Like, if the one, looks to the other,
and sees his mirror image.
They must think to themselves,
"What strange sorcery is this???"

*Song kicks in*
"What's you, copy cat... ohhhh.. na-na-na-naaaana!"

And yet an end to the search
In almost every point, I can only agree with my predecessor.
This is also my first comment, and then on this fragrance.

It’s hard to believe that there are only one or two entries about Emperial Green. I have enjoyed around 150 different fragrances, always on the lookout for a fresh creation without a synthetic aftertaste or undertone, as is unfortunately often the case.
And I have found it.
After acquiring many warm, wintry scents, herbal fragrances that also fit into spring and autumn, or incredible all-rounders like Layton from PdM, after sweet-oriental classics like Egypt Dreams from Tabac and artistic ones like J'Ose from Eisenberg, I have encountered a sweet-fresh masterpiece.

The first whiff after spraying carries me nostalgically away to a summer evening almost a decade ago. Without a doubt, the fragrance opens with mandarin and lavender, even though I rarely detect these in combination with other oils. The tonka bean is subtly and slightly bitter, always present from the beginning until (almost) the end, 9 hours later. The mandarin shifts within the first hour into a slightly warmer orange blossom, just as the pyramid suggests. A certain powderiness seems to linger in my nose, even though I have yet to find any agreement on this. And time passes, until after many hours only a bitter-warm-tempting ambrox remains, at least I recognize it in reference to synthetic (or real, who knows) amber notes that have already established themselves as a base note in other fragrances. For lovers of amber, I recommend Theta from the Svea fragrances, which hardly gain any reputation online, perhaps because they are very new, lack a known platform, or because their marketing is strange.
Emperial Green is labeled as a unisex fragrance, and I can fully agree with that. I am a big fan of fragrances that are typically feminine, but I don’t dare to wear them myself; this is a wonderful scent for men too!

I look forward to spring and summer, when this fragrance will finally come into its own.

All in all:
My search for a fresh-sweet perfume has come to an end. But as most here can surely empathize:
For now, just one.

Weather Caprices Over a Small Green Clearing
My first comment and also the first on this fragrance.....well then, let's get to work and I apologize in advance for the newbie comment.

The beautiful, high-quality bottle and the pyramid intrigued me, so I immediately ordered a sample. As a "freshy," I have been on the lookout for clean, fresh scents that are still not run-of-the-mill.

Imperial Green starts off soapy-fresh and slightly fruity with mandarin and lavender. I even think I can perceive the orange blossom, as a floral nuance emerges. It brings to mind a clearing in spring, illuminated by the sun.
The initial brightness of the fragrance fades very quickly, and the scent becomes a bit more austere. Here, the first clouds begin to gather over the clearing. Tonka and vanilla soon make their presence known, and the fragrance remains overall pleasantly soft....velvety.
As the journey continues, the clouds gather more and more, becoming darker. It becomes sultry, oppressive, and tension hangs in the air over the initially so peaceful clearing. For now, vetiver and cedar are battling against patchouli and vanilla for their lives.....with no hope of success. Any effort to maintain a fresh impression is smothered by the velvety patchouli and vanilla.

Due to the velvety sweetness, I would classify the fragrance at least in the unisex category. An interesting development, but unfortunately not my thing. The search will continue.

Fresh, green, sweet, creamy. A sweet fruity opening with orange and lavender. In the drydown, tonka bean and vanilla. A smoother CASHEE.

Strong lavender opening, stays fresh into the drydown. Found mine around £40, wouldn't spend more really. Average performance, great bottle

Interesting combo, green-fresh-fruity, a very nice year-round all-rounder that stands out positively, but has nothing to do with Lord George!

Too bad it doesn't last longer...great, subtly sweet, slightly green freshy that feels quite airy/fluffy! I really liked it!

Not an imperial green. Rather a vanilla sweet-freshness that gets lost in unisex mediocrity. Bottle 10/10. It's Lalique, after all.

A practical all-rounder that unfortunately lacks a bit of strength.
Still, a successful blend of fresh and subtly sweet.

I should have bought it sooner. Lalique gets a lot right, and this is a great scent at a reasonable price. Buy it! :-)

Velvety green - beautiful. Actually similar to Lord George :-)
But definitely uniquely beautiful!

A bit green, a little aquatic. Unfortunately, the idea of cool water can't be avoided. Not very desirable + quite weak.

Niche version of Allure Homme Sport. A bit powdery and less fresh. Sillage is very good, longevity is solid.
