Not an easy fragrance for beginners...
If you are looking for something unusual and aquatic, this is the only option you need so far. You won't find anything similar in any fragrance. If most aquatic colognes are fresh and have mass appeal, this one is too dark and heavy, the same as its bottle.
The marine notes are prominent, but I don't get any patchouli or leather even close. On the contrary, I feel some strong celery notes. There is a pungent note, but maybe it is the thing that makes it unique, mysterious, and enchanting.
If you are not ready to put other people's noses and tastes to the test, don't use this fragrance. I'd rather call this fragrance an experiment to be careful with. Never blind-buy it or you may regret it. My review is contradictory, the same as the scent of this perfume.
The most expensive fragrance among the cheapest perfumes
If you are searching for something marine and fresh that can be used for any occasion, you've come to the right place!
Some marine aromas are dark like Kenzo's Homme EDP or Orto Parisi's Megamare. These are not mass appeal, but Nautica Voyage does its job great. It is an essence of aquatic freshness. Some people say it gives some cucumber notes, but I don't get them at all even when I try to imagine this.
Among all the cheap fragrances, this would be the one and only I'd go for. It lasts on me for 3-4 hours, doesn't make you feel tired of using it, and doesn't smell cheap. The performance overall is extremely good, especially for this price.
Just an old perfume that reminds 70-80s.
It is good for home after a shower or in your collection to honor the memory of the old days. It is better not to use it when you are about to hang out. I believe that most people won't call this fragrance attractive. On the contrary, you may give away some great-grandad vibes. Some of Davidoff's notes can be pungent to some people, so scent-wise, it is not a serious perfume today.
If things like Azzaro Chrome can be called 'retro' and still smell good and elegant, the Cool Water is 'retro' in a bad way. The scent is not as advanced as, for example, the same price alternative–Nautica Voyage. Between these two, I'd strongly recommend using Nautica.
Timeless and Super Projecting Perfume
Sweet and spicy, timeless perfume! With hot weather, it is a cloying killer, but in winter, you'd be the center of attention. Projection for 2-3 meters and longevity of 6 hours.
The mood for this perfume is a night out with friends at a restaurant while it snowing. In such a condition, it'd be perfect. If you live in a hot area, you may suffocate yourself and others around with just a few sprays.
Warm and Sophisticated
It is hard to find people who won't like it. A great perfume for all occasions and seasons. Yet, I'd personally wear it in colder weather. Projects as far as 1-2 meters and lasts around 4 hours. Warm, sweet, and spicy vibes that are not cloying. Perfect for night events!
Each shot till the very last drop of the perfume was worth it! A no-brainer that you should have in your collection.
