... scrumptious clean woman...
It'll be festive.
My girlfriend's getting ready.
It's "going-out time."
I roll my eyes.
She can't see it because her face is approaching the mirror.
The mouth opens easily.
I can hear the sound of the lipstick being turned.
It looks like she's slightly tightening her lips.
The yellowish light of the light bulb in the bathroom accentuates your complexion unusually beautiful - the white LED light of the clubs and bars is too bright...
She draws a fine line. First down, then up.
She approaches the mirror again a little further.
Carefully she begins with the eyelid line, reflecting the light in small dots of light in her grey-green eyes, which look like stars shattered into millions of tiny pieces.
She hears something.
I moan and sigh.
She says, "What?"
I say: " Can I go to the bathroom?"
She smiles in her own quiet and says: " unfortunately you have to wait a little longer!"
I breathe out hearingly annoyed.
Her smile gets wider:-), she heard it:-).
I stomp up and down like a doped racehorse.
She has to laugh out loud.
"I'll be ready soon," she shouts
After 50min it's almost done.
It uses a white-leather packaging.
I'll stop halfway there. Like an owl on a dead birch tree, I look in their direction.
"What's the matter?" I ask and take a few steps to catch more.
She smiles again.
The milky-pink bottle appears.
I recognize: LALIQUE
Well, that can only be good, I thought to myself.
She starts spraying, far away from herself, so that the fragrance does not become too doll-soft, as the morning dew of the heather lays over her velvety soft skin.
Grapefruit and tangerine are shooting at me.
They juggle with each other like the artists in cirque du soleil. Black currant is thrown into the juggling number by the helper. Artemisia was left out of the rehearsal. It stays fruity. At the end a little dignified musk, the audience claps its hands.
Something special, like the Canadian circus show.
She puts on a dreamlike cocktail dress, slips with her tender feet into the suitably beautiful shoes.
She looks over her shoulder and smiles, again, like the last hour, actually without a break.
Perfect...
I breathe out deeply. Now it's my turn and I'm almost a bit sad, what can top something like that?
I scratch my head and smile:-).
"Just leave it!" I think.
"Just leave it like that!"
It's good:-).

... Gin Fizz or rather Tom Collins?
I was an avid gin drinker back then.
Here perhaps one should not place the emphasis so on the two parts of the word.;-).
Why don't we just say "connoisseur:-)"?
In all variants. As a fine saffrongin with a slice of orange, a nice Hendricks with a twist of cucumber and some pepper from the mill or simply a Gordons with some lemon.
You could spin the sentence endlessly, there are too many great gins and too many combinations.

Of course then also the "Sours", here the structure always from lemon juice (best freshly pressed juice) and sugar syrup. Based on it then the Fizzes and Collinses, which are filled up however still with soda.
That despite the identical composition the preparation gives the difference in taste, is already fenomenal.

If the Gin Fizz is shaken in the "Shaker" or "Boston Shaker" and the Tom Collins is directly built up in the glass and only stirred and then both poured with soda water afterwards, a difference in taste can be perceived.
What do I perceive here?
The fragrance begins citrically almost briefly acidic.
From the very beginning, however, a fine juniper note can be felt. However, during the preparation something was exaggerated for my taste with the "sugar syrup/läuterzucker".

Could it be the iris and the jasmine?

That's what happened to us at the bar, we rebuilt it. He's too unbalanced for me.
It could be a little more lemon and a little less sweetness.
What doesn't even point to a Gin Fizz is the rose, which I think is quickly very present and can be smelled more clearly than in the fragrance pyramid.
It's not a bad smell, I like the house "Lubin" too, but he won't be mine.
More for the woman, a few gentlemen dare him. I don't trust him, and I don't dare wear him either. Here are more lively variants for me..

On the other hand, I find the bottle very cool and successful. Sillage and shelf-lives decrease quite quickly.

Everyone as he likes it:-).

... sweet tonka bean...
How do I begin? It's never been so hard for me to find a beginning.
Let's start from behind. This special collection from Lalique simply knocks me out of the bottles. The wonderful clear milky glass. Of course they know what they're doing. The really noble casket around it-wonderful.

The scent: Yes one can catch lavender but for my nose with a lot of imagination. I don't notice cowards either. So he starts with cardamom, but actually he directly turns into a tonka bean, which was rolled in cinnamon. Accompanied by a light vanilla, which one then smells, paired with the bean, all the time for many hours.

Always or all the time with a milky undertone.

Not a bad smell, God doesn't know, but too sweet for me. It gives me a whole day's wear, a headache and I get sick.
Of course it's a completely different fragrance but I had a little reminder to "Tonka Imperiale" for the first few seconds only this one plays in the 1st league, whereas this one only kicks in the circle class for me. The station wagon, cardamom, tonka, vanilla, cinnamon is just too coarse for me, too puffy for Candyhouse.
BUT, tastes are different.

... short and sweet...
He's right there, right there, right there, right ready to go.

Fragrance:
Tonka Fever starts directly with a peppery note, the first seconds almost biting. After a few minutes Tonka Bean/Vanilla is added. They're both on the same page for a long time.
After approx. 30 minutes Tonka bean passes the vanilla, which is still trying to stay at the same height. She does it once in a while, too. They take turns.
A spirit chord joins in third place, slightly behind the vanilla and tonka bean.
But rum? Not so much.

He reminds my colleague of a visit in a Gindestillerie:-), which reminds thereby easily of Wachholder, although the aforementioned does not occur in the smell pyramid.
Also mixable with the pepper notes.

Hendricks Gin with pepper and some cucumber:-)? Here we let the cucumber out of course:-).
Smoky and very minimal leathery notes replace it after about 1 hour.

Patchouli is also present in these small nuances.

Shelf life:
It's okay. Depending on skin type 7-11 hours

Sillage:
In 1m distance good and long perceptible.

Flacon:
I like the interplay of cement grey and black here.

It's a beautiful fragrance, there's no other way to put it. If it's worth 190€, I'll put it there. That's for everyone to decide for themselves.

Clear unisex scent, wouldn't say if more lady or more gentleman.

... Mesa
The alarm goes off, I get up. It's still pitch dark outside. Thirty minutes later, there's a knock on the door. I open the door and Jimmy is standing in the doorway, glowing. "You need a guide?" I take my backpack and I open the battered door of the Toyota Land Cruiser. Dust clings to my hand, I gently stroke my hands over each other, close my eyes and lead them towards my nose. Paired with the cool, clear morning freshness I perceive the earthy smell of my palms. A smile fills my face and I'm ready.
Jimmy, a German who has lived in the Cape region for 20 years, starts the engine. The 20-year-old Land Cruiser is reliably on its way. I sit comfortably although the seat already has a slight hollow. The seats faded over decades of use of this companion.
I close my eyes again and breathe in the clear air through the small, open window, I absorb the strange smells. They pass by me like clouds that come and go, forming and dissolving from new ones.
After a while we arrive. Jimmy parks the car, shines just like at the beginning and whispers to me: "Lets do it, my friend". I'll go ahead and Jimmy'll cover. We need a few hours for the ascent, highly concentrated on the quartzite sandstone, because every mm of this breathtaking landscape is alien to me. We allow ourselves short pauses, the dawn is slowly to be recognized, the silence decreases increasingly, the life awakes, to the strange smells a spark of warmth joins. Again I catch myself smiling, what Jimmy has had since the departure:-). After 4 hours we made it. I let myself fall into the shallow grass and stretch all fours of me. I inhale deeply, I inhale deeply again - wanting to absorb every smell of the strange, distant, wonderful part of this breathtaking land.
I smell peppery notes at the beginning, which are the reason for this wonderful moment, closely followed by vanilla, which gently wraps itself around the fermented rooibos and concludes with honey and the most unspoilt note of vanilla. Or better said, the cradle of vanilla, the cradle of mankind, the cradle of life - AFRICA-.
