2020's Best
I would claim that this fragrance is THE discovery of the last few months.. Thanks to Corona, one is hardly perceived anymore and the people around you actually smell no more than their own breath.
But this nice colleague here stands out even through every FFP2 mask and ensures that you are noticed.
The latter has already been communicated to me several times :)
Now to the scent: A fruity, spicy tobacco drydown gives this perfume its name.
I am not a fan of the classic tobacco smell and I could not imagine at all that I would ever praise a perfume that has a tobacco note.
But Red Tobacco implements it so skillfully fruity and fresh that it doesn’t bother you at all.
On the contrary - it makes it incredibly interesting and wearable.
In the opening, I really smell the fruity notes and I particularly like the apple-peach-saffron combination.
In the heart, it then becomes beautifully herbaceous and woody with the patchouli, without losing the lightness of the fruits. THAT, my dear friends, not many can do... best regards to the nose behind it and to the house of Mancera.
In the drydown, the aforementioned tobacco scent joins the woody notes. Really super well done. I find that the fruity-sweet notes do not completely disappear. They are merely complemented by the base notes..
As a result, you really have a hit that is not only pleasing but also potent.
A few sprays on the jacket are enough to greet my colleague from the neighboring office without leaving my seat. So much for that :)
Moreover, it lasts a very, very long time. On clothing, it can still be perceived days later..
In conclusion, I want to mention that it was an absolute blind buy and I am so incredibly happy that I dared to do it :D
In this sense: Clear purchase recommendation, even blind from my side. Because this one will definitely always be well received!
Otherwise, stay healthy & have nice holidays, dear ones.
Here’s hoping we can (hopefully) soon go olfactory exploring in city centers again - without a mask, of course!
:)
Best regards, Osman58

Blue Wonder..
Before I write anything about this fragrance, I want to first focus on this eye-catching bottle.
I have rarely seen such a beautiful bottle. Of course, it's all subjective, as blue is my favorite color. Just the cap with the stone in the middle and this beautiful deep blue bottle practically screams dominance.. really beautifully done.
10/10.
About the scent:
It starts off very spicy, and for the first few minutes, you might think you're walking through a spice bazaar in the Orient.. you close your eyes.. you can almost feel yourself being enveloped by 1001 nights and you let yourself fall into a bed of mystery. Opoponax and incense are really very prominent..
I admit: For some, this fragrance will simply be unbearable..
But before it starts to overwhelm me with all its power and spice, there comes this incredibly pleasant twist.
Suddenly, it becomes quite sweet and pulls me out of the spice bazaar and leads me to a place where sweet scents enchant me..
You don't need to say much about the performance. One of the best in the world without exaggeration.
But I also have to get something off my chest: My personal motto has always been "Beast or Bye". If a perfume didn't have performance, it was immediately uninteresting. But I'm increasingly realizing that this isn't always a good thing. Sometimes it can quickly become intrusive or just unpleasant.. when you apply a scent, for example, on a jacket and the next day or the day after that, the jacket still smells like it.. it's just too much.
At least for people like us who have more than one perfume to choose from..
Because then the scents mix, and I don't find that so great.
What do you think? I'm sometimes a bit indecisive..
Conclusion:
If you want to spend the necessary pocket change, you get a very interesting, extraordinary fragrance that definitely makes an impression.
I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys oriental, spicy scents.
Stay healthy, dear ones!

Unique+Good Longevity
Contrary to some critical comments, I took advantage of a good deal and got my first PDM. I had tested it before and was very taken with the way the combination of vanilla & almond envelops you without feeling heavy or intrusive.
At the beginning, I also perceive the often-mentioned metallic note. It hardly bothers me... on the contrary. I haven't smelled anything like it in any other perfume.
Regarding performance:
Sillage 7 hours+ then it tapers off, which I think is absolutely sufficient.
Longevity 10 hours+.
A small general criticism that bothers me with many niche brands:
No question that a perfume in this price range is a luxury for "normal people." However, the packaging is anything but luxurious... a bread roll is almost more elegantly packaged. Somehow sad. But well...
Admittedly, I have cheaper fragrances that have much stronger sillage/longevity... but this scent definitely has a unique character and recognizability!
Conclusion: Don't let every comment here confuse you.
Test it yourself, just wait for a good deal and then go for it!

First Hä? And then WOW!
In the first 2 minutes, the spicy part with allspice & oregano shoots through the air so much that you can't miss the scent at all. Accompanied by a cloak of incense, it practically screams throughout the room: "Make way, I AM here!"
Admittedly.. The opening is not for everyone. But as the sharpness fades a bit, the amber starts to tickle the nose along with a hint of citrus, and you just want more and more!
Mysteriously, the scent conquers my surroundings, and suddenly I think to myself: "Wait a minute! What is this?"
THIS IS OUD. It's just amazing how it blends with the other fragrance notes! An animalistic, sweet scent with a presence as if it were a big player. The drydown phase is truly a dream..! H/S are good, and the bottle looks very elegant..
So, my very first comment. I hope you like it.
