A Star in the Dark.
Star by Lost Tribe is a fragrance that stands out, but in a subtle way. From the start, its opening surprises with a ripe banana note that, while it might seem bold at first, blends perfectly and gives off a warm, smooth touch. There's also a green, slightly boozy undertone that adds structure without being overpowering.
As it evolves, the fragrance feels well-balanced. Floral notes like frangipani and geranium aren’t particularly prominent, but they linger in the background, adding freshness and lightness. This isn’t a perfume that tries to highlight each note individually; instead, it creates a general, fluid, and harmonious impression.
As it dries down, Star becomes more woody and enveloping. The oud is there, but in a subtle way, adding a dark edge without taking over. Sandalwood and a touch of vanilla round it off with a creamy softness. There's also a slight spicy note that adds warmth, without overshadowing the other elements.
In terms of longevity, it's pretty good, with moderate projection. It’s ideal for those who enjoy fragrances with presence, but without being too attention-grabbing. It’s not one of those perfumes that hits you immediately, but rather something more intimate that becomes more enjoyable over time.
In conclusion, Star is a well-crafted perfume with its own personality. It doesn’t aim to be flashy or excessive, but it offers a refined, thoughtful experience that’s definitely worth trying.

A different and original amber
Powerful at the start, with a somewhat animalistic scent and also reminiscent of solvent, but which gradually softens and a floral note appears over time, similar to ylang ylang, between honeyed and vanilla, mixed with ambergris and oud, ending in a more woody and smoky way.
The performance is above average, with good projection and also duration.
A different amber than usual.

A different gourmand
I really don't understand the poor scoring here. It is a different gourmand, without using the typical toasted sugar note that is so fashionable nowadays. The hazelnut is well integrated between the flowers and vanilla and has a good presence for the hours it lasts (not many but I have no complaints either).
In fact, I think it is one of the best of the brand, but of course, you have to like this style, and most people do not appreciate if something is well done when it is not their style of fragrance. Unfortunately.

Orcanox is the real protagonist.
It starts very soapy with a medium phase where the rose becomes more evident, a rose of the detergent or softening type, too industrial and not very natural.
In the background, you can always appreciate the "Orcanox" (Ambroxan) with its typical pungent smell among bergamot, salt and old books.
Average performance. Acceptable duration and timid projection and perhaps pulling towards the male side.
Nothing innovative or remarkable, although it is pleasant. It really looks like an Ambroxan bomb to me.
