Treacle vibes with less smoke

Honey, beeswax and tobacco.
Very sticky, thick and sweet like Treacle.
Not bad, but between the two I prefer the second one which is slightly smokier thanks to the Lapsang Souchong.
Longevity and sillage are veeeeery good btw!
You can clearly perceive the quality (like the others Pineward-Perfumes)

One of my favourite Pineward releases

I am referring to first, maple-loaded formulation of Steading. From what I've heard, the formula has changed.

Green-resinous-animalic border crossing blend. Rather not for the fainted hearts out there. Notes present on my skin are maple, beeswax, hay, castoreum, tobacco, hops and of course the signature of the line - conifers (I detect mostly pine).

I’d say - if you like Slumberhouse Sova, but you’d like to have more extreme version of it - go for Steading from Pineward - you should be satisfied.

Longevity is through the roof - over 12 hours with less than 3 sprays. It’s easy to overspray that one. Sillage is above average.

I think it’s in my top 3 releases from the brand.

Steady state

This is an aroma that can bring a very interesting feeling of comfort from the intimacy of the home. From a quiet home with a fireplace.
It could be used to get dressed and go outside because it is pleasant, but it seems to me more of an olfactory experience to feel comfortable in the tranquility of our place of rest.

I don't think I can highlight individual notes as the mix blends excellently and achieves an overall feel.
The duration in leather is quite respectable, perhaps one of the best of this house. The projection and silage, however, is as scarce as in all the Pineward perfumes.
I suppose that it is the counterpart of using very natural fragrances.

A Perfect Day in the Country

This starts off with HONEY, like you're Winnie the Pooh with your head stuck in the honey pot levels of honey, but this settles down relatively quickly, as the hay, tobacco and peat smoke make their appearance.

This is a day in the country, jumping into piles of hay, being chased away from beehives, watching my great aunt tap the maples, getting sips of my great-uncle's beer, sweeping line needles off the sidewalk, bonfires.

It's beautiful and homey. Nilsson has really captured something here, IMO, which will have a familiar feeling for many people; people who have or currently live in a rural area or people who like to escape urban environment for the country.

I just love it. It's sweet but unisex. It lasts all day, with strong sillage for the first hour and moderate spillage for the next few hours.

Comfort wrapped in maple leaves

One of a few Pineward releases I immediately fell for.
This is a safe scent, thoughtfully blended to evoke image of comfort and safety. It is on the dark side, yet there is nothing controversial or risky about it.
Nothing „fun and loving” about it at all as well. I’d say it is perfect for autumn entourage. I do have a sweet tooth for barley scents and to me this one is all about it. When I say the blend is devine I mean all the other notes are not dominant, more of a symphony giving all attention to sundried barley. No dusty facets, just sun exposed fields of barley dabbed a bit in honey and tobacco tincture.
