aaaahh, how excited I am, my first Parfumo review, which might be a bit longer... LVEB was first wafted under my nose when I received a soothing full-body massage. With closed eyes and relaxing music, I lay on the massage table in the back room while the masseuse massaged me pleasantly. Time and again, an indescribably lovely, sweet, and yet elegant scent, absolutely not overpowering, wafted around my nose. No, that wasn't the massage oil...

At the end of the session, I kindly asked the lady about her fragrance. She said, "LVEB, it's quite new on the perfume market." Nice! Said and done, the next day I went to the perfumery and bagged that lovely little scent.

If you know me, you know I don't always mean well with my fellow humans ;-) because when it comes to fragrances, I couldn't quite dose the spray head in my younger years. Like someone with iron on their foot on the gas pedal, I always doused myself properly, it could be that the scent just disappears after a few hours... That must not happen under any circumstances. My biggest mistake with this fragrance, to the suffering of my fellow humans, started with my boss and ended with my mom.

The newly acquired fragrance wanted to be worn out, so the next day I nicely applied it and off to the office. Not a good idea, my boss came in, smelled, and left with a headache... "Oh dear Janna, you really meant well with your perfume, please less next time." "Oh my," I thought, "what's her problem," it smells good...

A week later, and more carefully dosed, my mom came to visit me for a shopping trip. We had a little drive ahead of us, including on the highway. When we got into the car, I had to hear again, "Phew, kid, what sweet and overpowering perfume are you wearing?" Well, we drove off without comment, but after a few minutes on the highway, my mom suddenly said, "No, this is such an awful perfume, I can't breathe!" Going 100 on the highway, she immediately opened all the available and functioning windows in the car. If it had been possible to open the trunk while driving, she would have done that too!

Well, that was the end of it for us, meaning the perfume and me. When well dosed, LVEB is a real highlight and not for nothing the bestseller from Lancome. All the negative comments from my close circle spoiled my desire for this perfume, it feels like, "no, you can't wear that again, people will go crazy if you wear it again," so away with it. That was 7 years ago, and every time I walk past the LVEB shelf in the perfumery, I make a wide berth around it, and bad memories come flooding back. So, unfortunately, nothing will come of us in this life...
