The king of ginger fragrances
My first contact with a strong ginger scent was with The Hedonist Eau de Parfum. Here, ginger meets a beautiful warm woody note. I was immediately in love. Due to the huge hype surrounding Ginger, I also wanted to try it, as the ginger theme had captivated me.

The Ginger replaces the woodiness of The Hedonist Eau de Parfum with citrus. And I quickly realized that what I found so great about The Hedonist Eau de Parfum was not the wood, but the ginger, and I found the combination with the citrus in Ginger even better.

What a great scent. The ginger has a slight spiciness and together with the citrus is wonderfully fresh. A real hit for the summer.

Great fresh not sweet vetiver scent
I discovered this fragrance by chance when I got it as a surprise sample in the souk. I hadn't had it on my radar before, as I think it has remained quite under the radar since its release. I had been looking for a fresh fragrance for some time before that, but one that didn't have a strong citrus note in the foreground or a certain sweetness. In principle, I was already very happy with Renaissance, but this fragrance has a completely different approach.

The fragrance has a unique cool, not sweet freshness. I smell bergamot in the opening paired with mint and orchid. The base of vetiver and oakmoss is beautifully cooling and refreshing, with a distinctly woody note. Light barbershop vibes emerge. But a super classy and luxurious barbershop. You are freshly shaved, your hair has been washed and care oils have been applied. A really great fragrance and my favorite from Mancera so far.

The ingenious blue everwalker. A classic and masterpiece
Bleu de Chanel in the EdP, probably the classic fragrance par excellence. I have really grown to love it. I use it a lot and sometimes I reference it almost too often when I talk about other fragrances.

It opens with a wonderfully citrusy, manderine top note before developing that typical Chanel DNA, becoming darker and woodier. I am generally a fan of fragrances that are not too heavy and dark, and Bleu de Chanel hits the mark for me. Not a pure citrus scent, but sufficiently fresh and with a woody undertone. Simply a great blue fragrance, the best of its kind to be precise.
