“Abu Dhabi” - New Creation by Gallivant Takes You to the Hot Rub Al Khali Desert

Each fragrance of the British label Gallivant is an urban exploration of the world. The twelfth creation found its inspiration in "Abu Dhabi", surrounded by the endless dunes of the Rub al Khali.

Hot golden sand. Glistening bright light. A breeze from the desert. The brand's founder's latest work aims to capture the romance, adventure and beautiful simplicity he first read about in Wilfred Thesinger's Arabian Sands when he was studying Arabic at university. It was his first experience with the Emirates and Abu Dhabi. Glowing light, the sand horizon, the shifting glory of the dunes, the warm wind from the Rub al Khali desert, the "Empty Quarter."

The perfume, created by Lucas Sieuzac, is an expedition through the dunes, which experiences a kind of sepia-toned minimalism. The nostalgia inherent in the composition is supposed to be an emotional echo of the perfumes from the late 80s and 90s such as Bel Ami and Fahrenheit, created by the legendary Jean-Louis Sieuzac.

"Abu Dhabi" is a hot, dry and spicy unisex fragrance. A modern interpretation of the classic fougère construction. The fragrance opens with cypress, pink pepper, peppermint, rosemary and cistus. The heart of the perfume is formed by clary sage, saffron, rose geranium and orris root. The base note with its impressive sillage, reminiscent of the desert breeze, consists of cedarwood, patchouli, leather notes and musk.

The perfume is available in bottle sizes of 30ml and 100ml, as well as a 1.2ml sample.
