I have been told that this particular perfume may now be discontinued, or perhaps it was always just a limited edition. Either way, I was lucky enough to secure a sample for my testing and subsequent review. Diptyque is a favourite brand and I was hoping this would not let me down. Hope you enjoy the review.

This Hermessence line has been a little bit hit and miss of the several that I have tested so far. Smelling Ambre Narguile, I can understand its popularity and standing within this line, but with some gourmands, it really has to be just right for me to want to wear them. My review was based from a sample given to me by a kind friend from her own bell jar of this classic jasmine scent. I was already a big fan of Hermes Equipage Geranium, the Jean-Claude Ellena flanker to this original release of the early seventies. In reviewing this I was keen to see if there was a connection still running. between these two Hermes icons. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. Hope you enjoy the review.
