Simple, yet impactful
All right, I had to share my two cents after seeing someone give a god-awful rating only for its ordinary bottle design, and let me say this the adjective is not meant to be read as offensive.
This body spray right here is unique, as it takes your traditional aromatic-woody scent and gives it a twist with some added warmth and sweetness. This could be bottled by a popular designer house and it would sell like hot cakes because it’s a simple scent, but that’s where the beauty lies!
Also, for the price tag!? For $46, a body spray that performs like a perfume is outstanding! I’m mad this is a limited edition scent, it deserves to be in the permanent line.

Dark Caramel… bare with me
Andromeda’s Curse is a perfume oil house, which represents a format of fragrance that I don’t usually vouch for as its application can be quite challenging, even questionable. However, this indie brand made me swallow my prejudice whole, and “Disconnected” is such a perfect example.
“Disconnected” starts off sweet, saccharine and playful, with that intense dosage of caramel and vanilla, and it stays like that for a while. Like, this perfume is the epitome of sweet, I know many might get turned off, but this one made me learn a valuable lesson, let that perfume dry down on skin, what you end up smelling is a mysterious, decadent oud and sandalwood scent. It’s dark, it’s deep, there’s some sweetness there, but it truly does a 180º flip on you! It “disconnected” to everything you thought about from the get-go.
Oh, and did I tell that this last all day on skin? Because if I didn’t, BE WARNED, PAL.
“Disconnected” for me, truly represents that the art of perfume can be deceiving, intriguing and groundbreaking, without breaking the bank. It’s a dark caramel, a candy gone rogue. I just wish that Andromeda’s Curse soon starts turning this scents into Eau de Parfums, or even Extrait de Parfums, I see great future in Andromeda’s Curse.

A cloud of goodness
I bought this fragrance as a little mistake, as I thought that Paisley Sky was renamed Paisley Dream, but I noticed a few months after that this was a flanker to the aforementioned, and Paisley Sky was on stock again. However, I must say, this is the best mistake I have made, because this fragrance is GORGEOUS!
It’s powdery, unconventionally sweet, intoxicating, yet plush. It smells like it should cost more than its retail price (lemme not say it too loud, as we are seeing the ongoing trend). It starts out with a heavy dose of heliotrope and honeysuckle, which gives it such a wonderful presence, it’s like you are floating on a cloud. Then it starts drying down into a smokey, balsamic incense, yet it has a honey-like quality, which gives a delicious sweetness to it. This is dreamy! And the performance and sillage are unbelievable, one of the few fragrances that has garnered compliments like crazy.
I would highly recommend this scent, don’t let the simple bottle and graphic design make you think otherwise, this is QUALITY!
