Sugary, sweet roses

I find it quite similar to Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper | 25 without Kayali’s strong, metallic saffron note. Montale’s version amps up the rose into a jammy one and pairs it with brown sugar. Reminded me a bit of rose lokoum, without the powderiness. Personally, I didn’t detect a green note coming in from the violet leaf but my boyfriend did, so I guess I was nose-blind to it? Saffron is very subtle and soft compared to the fragrances I own that have this note. Amber and vanilla start turning this fragrance into something sweet and warm.

Rose remains the strongest note with the brown sugar. It’s a very lovely scent, but it’s not something unique. Like I said, Kayali’s version is very similar and I feel like it has more depth, more complexity and better performance than Montale’s which is the main reason why it won’t be making it into my collection. Still, it was something I was glad to try out!

disclaimer: I have a weakness for rose scents with strong masculine notes, so the enthusiasm was to be expected.

crazy in love opens floral-fresh-synthetic with something medicinal in the background, I briefly felt like I was in a doctor's office (just a little bit).

the freshness fades quickly and is replaced by a very pleasant resin that dominates together with the rose. simple but so beautiful. you can enjoy this for a long, long time, and the sillage is solid. among the 3-4 Montale scents I have tried so far, this one ranks second best for me :D

I definitely wouldn't wear this in the office, it can quickly become overwhelming, simply because it is such a strong, confident bomb and not a crowd pleaser. in my opinion, it's made for going out on cool nights, and it smells exactly like Zendaya looks in a suit (millennial here).
whenever you wear it, it's worth having a coffee with it; I had freshly brewed coffee earlier and the scent in my nose and thought "wow"!

I’m already looking forward to waking up one Saturday morning slightly dazed from partying and smelling the scent from the night before; until then, I'll definitely spray it on while having coffee ✨

Cheerful Roses with Amber and Saffron

Actually, I don't like amber scents, but I have to admit, this one is not bad, as the roses definitely take the lead. Despite the saffron and amber. It doesn't seem heavy or "cloying" to me at all, which I sometimes fear with Montale fragrances. It is warm, but still allows me enough air to breathe. Starts off energetic, then becomes cozy. "Crazy in Love" is not so crazy, but rather a feel-good scent, confident, zesty, modern. Naturally sweet, so for me it's girly, not unisex.

One immediately thinks that the scent is secondary - if you stay within the Montale family, it is a child of Roses Musk Eau de Parfum and Arabians Tonka. To me, it also sounds like a mix of Delina Eau de Parfum and Instant Crush.

So, my conclusion: it is a radiant, spicy rose-amber scent. Not retro at all. Definitely good for going out, even in Corona times, you will smell it through the mask.
P.S.: If it is too overpowering for you, but you like the direction, you might be happy with Explicite ;)

The Wild Rose and I...

The scent is a knockout in terms of longevity. One spray is definitely enough to fill a room. This is my first niche fragrance and I was so excited when my order arrived. I smelled it on my girlfriend and had to have it immediately. So I ordered it somewhat blindly... What can I say, it really is amazing. You feel confident and sexy with this fragrance. I love the sweetness paired with the saffron. I seem to have developed a weakness for it. But unfortunately, it sometimes annoys me, as the wild rose and I have had our disagreements. Unfortunately, it keeps pushing through at various points throughout the experience, and I'm not always ready for that.

Disappointing yet a compliment getter

Hello everyone,
In July of this year, after a long search, I decided to go for Crazy in Love. I must say the scent itself is great. A lovely rosy note with a hint of piercing vanilla. The first impression was very feminine for me, but after a few seconds, this changed significantly. A beautiful summer fragrance that reminds me of a lovely dinner with a sunset in Greece. However, I find the longevity quite shocking for the price. The scent lasts relatively short for me and also for others, which makes you think twice about whether it would be worth the investment. Nevertheless, it can be said that it is not an everyday scent and sets you apart from the crowd.
