Lalique Encre New Mainstream
Today is the first test of the newest Lalique Encre Indigo. You can feel the original base of its predecessor here, so sour vetiver plus a bit of smoke, but only a little and only at the end in the base along with ISO Super. The beginning for me is pink pepper; the perfume reminded me a bit of Dior S. Then citrus fruits, especially bergamot and saffron. It's a shame that this suede was so short-lived, only an hour, because at some point the composition reminded me of Saffron Colognise by Nishane. And that's it, because honestly, nothing else happens here.

The longevity is 3 hours, the projection is nice for 1 hour and then there's hot water. Lalique has proven that it is no longer a great budget niche, but just a regular mainstream from the bottom shelf at Sephora/Douglas. If the price is about that of Lalique Encre Noire, in my opinion, it's worth the extra money. Even though they are much more expensive, there are many other more beautiful fragrances.

Rating based on a sample from the store's website. My photo with a graphic editor, just for fun. Regards

Gold bars from the USA
Today on global I have been wearing Tom Ford Noir Extreme perfume since morning and I must say that it is less sweet than its predecessor and spicier thanks to cardamom and ginger. The opening can be associated with a women's fragrance, as there is a hint of lipstick. Anyone who has smelled it knows what I am talking about. The base is woody, cedar-like, and sweet - tonka - such a simple scent can be seductive. Average projection, but 8h+ longevity. Unisex for me.
p.s. Do not judge this perfume by the tester in the store, as it smells beautiful during projection when it envelops us like a cashmere scarf. Smelling it up close does not provide the same satisfaction with the composition.

Karl Lagerfeld Classic Forest
The latest Karl Lagerfeld Classic Grey should end with Forest instead of Grey, because for me it is the most forest-like scent I have ever encountered. It is hard to understand why such a low price, why not a popular Wogule? We wander in a niche and can have a solid perfume at hand. The scents are nutty, milky, and mixed. From the very beginning, you can feel a dusty cocoa blend of hazelnut with milky sandalwood. Then pine needles, pencil cedar, moss, and an oak barrel. Perhaps it is not a natural, vegan, organic scent, but the composition itself is 6+.

Polish Church
It is a scent that is 100% similar to Montale Full Incense. Here I smell frankincense, black pepper, and bay leaf. Longevity is 4 hours on the skin, 7 hours on a merino wool sweater. You can buy it in Poland, as it is a Polish niche fragrance. It costs about €20 for 50 ml. I especially recommend it to priests.

Fresh Old Wood
Today's guest from the morning with me is the latest creation from DSQUARED2, 2 WOOD. I once had an older Wood bottle in a wooden frame, then I hosted the mountain version in such a frame as well. And the latest work smells like a combination of both. Only at the beginning, for the first 5 minutes, sour lemon and vanilla attack the nostrils, giving me the impression that it's pulling in another Chanel clone, but then everything fades away and we get a hint of fresh violet by the waterfall, we also feel sharp, sour, resinous cypress and cool, aromatic fir. It is also unisex. At the base at the end, there is vetiver smoke, known from Lalique Encre Noire.
