Find your FIG!

In the beginning I found Fig difficult but overtime it grew on me a lot. Now, I am always on a lookout for an exciting new take of Fig.

My journey with fig has been long and I have to give the credit where due. To the fragrance that made me love and appreciate fig for the first time and as a result stays in the heart of this fig pyramid:

🔴 3# Nota di Viaggio (Ciavuru d'Amuri) (2019) | Creamy powdery Jasmine infused green Fig. This is Meo’s ode to his birthplace and his mother. Such a joy in a bottle.

🔴 Fig Infusion | This fig is the easiest to wear one for anyone who wants to experience fig in all its glory. It’s very woody, very meditative fig infused with coconut & tea with the brightness & soapiness of neroli. Elegance.

🔴 Gris Charnel Eau de Parfum | Probably the most delicious gourmand take on Fig. Opens up with a lot of cardamom and becomes this creamy, powdery fig with almost no edges whatsoever. A lot of sweetness is added by tonka beans. Irresistible.

🔴 MEΘEXIS | It’s also another delicious gourmand fruity take on fig. This one is possibility the one that transforms the most on the skin. Fig dipped in syrupy dried fruits and honey, hints of chocolate and spicy cinnamon and some musky creamy dry down. Succulent.

🔴 Wanderlust (2018) | This is the most “fig” forward scent of the lineup. Very fruity tart, green take on fig with added pepper and herbaceous up top, with fig strong on its heart along with a lot of musks and dry woods. Unapologetically bold.

🔴 Clary Fig | Imho, its also the most unique take on fig as it goes from fresh creamy to spicy aromatic very soon. This creation of Antoine Lie is a fig for hot days. It has beautiful contrast of notes fresh which opens up with lemon zest and then blended effortlessly with spices and clary fig. Subtle yet powerful.

🔴 Fig Extasy | This was my first introduction to Mancera in Cannes and I loved it on first sniff. This Fig is invigorating opens up with a blast of ginger but goes more on the green/ leathery direction with added incense and some soapy nuances. A fig fragrance full of character and charm.
