B&BW's best scent
I love neroli/orange blossom combos so much that I have several versions. This cheap gem is one of my favorites- at any price range. It's profile is a mixture of the fruit (mandarin), neroli, orange blossom and sandalwood- balanced; neither too "sporty" or citrusy (as some neroli fragrances can be) or too sweet/syrupy or heady (many orange blossom scents).
Really, it just smells like the best (floral) sunscreen, warm skin, and summertime.

Shameful
This smells like part Estee cologne, part Pleasures, and not as nice as either. Neither the florals or honey accord bring a richness; which the orignal had. There is a green quality- but higher pitched than the original; more like a LOV type of green. The woodsy aspect in the dry down, with the florals is unpleasantly sharp.
I respect Malle. I love Flipo’s work; she is one of my favorite noses. However, Estee (Pure Fragrance spray, Super Cologne, and even edp- in “pineapple” bottles) is one of my favorite perfumes of all time, and this is a huge disappointment. For all this, they could have kept the (bad, but much less expensive) current offering.
