THE fresh scent
Sedley is for me an incredibly energetic burst of freshness and simply lifts my spirits. Shower gel associations also arise for me, but in a positive sense. Sedley smells just like it does in the men's showers of spas. Like an extract of accumulating scents from various high-quality shower gels. In the background, the light scent trails of the infusions from the saunas join in. Somehow, this association forms for me and makes the scent unique. Yes, it is certainly not the most complex or extravagant, but it just smells sooo good. For me, it is definitely not comparable to Sauvage, Bleu de Chanel, or other freshies from designer brands. The mint note gives the scent this special invigorating freshness. Clearly a great scent for summer, but especially now in cooler temperatures, the freshness really kicks in (if I may put it that way). If it's a freshie, then it's this one! Admittedly, it does come with a price. So: Test it!
And don't be put off by the negative comments. I'm glad to have it in my possession and I don't feel ashamed of it at all :)

The Summery Sailor
As a big fan of the original Sailor, I was very curious about the Intense version.
First of all: As is often the case with Rammstein fragrances, an absolute bargain in terms of price/performance!
However, the addition of "Intense" could be somewhat misleading. For me, this is more like the Light version compared to the original. The original impressed with an authentically salty (yes, also slightly seaweed-fishy) marine scent, like a stormy beach walk on the North Sea coast of Denmark, combined with a slightly sweet freshness. While this fragrance polarized strongly, this one is definitely more mass-appealing and less intense, without denying its origins. The DNA of the Sailor is definitely present here, but the salty-sandy and seaweed notes take more of a backseat to highlight a fresh-fruity grapefruit. This fits wonderfully with summer and smells almost as if Eros (the perfume variant) were paired with the Sailor. So in short: An absolute summer tip!
Compared to the original, it seems a little weaker in terms of longevity and sillage. Personally, I still prefer the original Sailor a bit more, as it comes across as so characteristic and uncompromising in its composition. But this variant is absolutely recommendable as a more mass-appealing, yet characterful, aquatic-fresh summer fragrance. The successful summer Sailor. Ahoi!

The Gentle (& Opulent) Angel
A scent like a caress.
In the opening, a delicate, very gentle fruitiness (I sense orange/apricot, even though they are not included).
Sensually enveloping, warming vanilla from the very beginning, which gradually gains dominance, its sweetness perfectly balanced, yet fortunately not coming across as overpowering (if one is careful with the dosage).
In addition, a benevolent, smooth creaminess develops, with slightly resinous notes rounding off the fragrance virtuously.
Unavoidably, I had to think of the dessert "Gentle Angel" (vanilla ice cream with orange juice) during the unfolding of the scent.
Grand Soir could be the olfactory translation of this dessert, albeit in a refined, exceptionally noble variant, where the vanilla ice cream comes from a renowned small ice cream manufacturer with the highest standards of quality and naturalness, and the house-made, mild orange juice is lightly enriched with apricot. However, the vanilla is clearly the centerpiece.
For me, an absolute feel-good fragrance, which always reveals its high-quality and perfection, yet does not boast or show off, but simply wants to envelop you and gift you wonderful hours.
Special occasions practically call for such a scent, the performance is good, but even in everyday life, in the smaller moments, it is a kind companion, whose inherent opulence never becomes too intrusive with a restrained dosage.
Definitely a winter/fall fragrance, which I also occasionally indulge in during spring.
Grace, extravagance, naturalness, and comfort are in harmony here. United in the amber-colored elixir.

My Shock-Loved Paradox
When I first applied Megamare, I was shocked. I had never experienced such a spectacular, powerful opening before, and even today, I know of nothing comparable in terms of intensity and power. I was shockingly in love. The sillage had me in its grip and held on. For a very long time. I perceived the fragrance as strong and unrestrained. To be clear: You have to like this! If you are sensitive, definitely avoid spraying it on your neck!
Megamare is definitely controversial. I can understand those who perceive this fragrance as very chemical. However, for me, it presented a reconciliatory and harmonious picture. Paradoxically, Megamare is a successful and powerful symbiosis of synthetic and natural elements. It sounds strange, and it is, but that’s how I perceive it. Megamare smells as if one had extracted the natural scent of the sea (and I mean a rough, salty sea, not a baby-blue shallow South Sea) and intensified that primal smell to the extreme, mixing it with a powerful synthetic-fresh and slightly sweet note. This creates an explosive and immensely potent blend that completely convinced me with its consistency and uniqueness.
So: If you don’t know Megamare yet, you should approach it with caution and definitely test it. And whether you like it or not, you should have smelled it at least once. It is definitely a unique olfactory experience and for me, a powerful, paradoxical symbiosis. A wild one-of-a-kind.

THE Perfume by Rammstein
Kokain Gold is most similar to the already incredibly good Black Intense from the same house. However, it is less pronounced in its smokiness, darkness, and heaviness, and overall feels more rounded. It is present but not intrusive, and even unfolds a slight freshness through citrus notes. Despite the comparison with Black Intense, Kokain Gold is a standalone, unique fragrance and a true one-of-a-kind. In particular, I have never experienced the turmeric note like this anywhere else. The quality is remarkably good, as with most other Rammstein fragrances, especially considering the price. If this scent were in the niche market, I wouldn't question it. For me, alongside the mentioned Black Intense and the Seemann, it's the best in the line and also ranks high outside of it! I am impressed!
When comparing the Rammstein fragrances, it goes, as already mentioned, most similarly in the direction of Black Intense. If you like that one, you should definitely test Kokain Gold. However, I do not recommend a blind buy, as it is a bit too special for that. Overall, I give it an unrestricted recommendation.
