Actually, I wouldn't have even tried Bleecker Street until today. It was on my radar, but there were a lot of other scents I would have tested before. In addition, the "bad" reviews have deterred me a bit. In the meantime, I've unfortunately gotten into the habit of critically reviewing all fragrances with an overall rating of less than "8" first and putting them further down the list. I don't know if it's the same for you, but because of all the ratings I always unconsciously categorize even unknown fragrances into good or bad. Bleecker Street is the best proof that you should not always rely only on the opinion of others and Parfumo reviews also reflect only part of the truth.

As I said, I myself would probably not have tested the fragrance until today. Me but has a nice Parfumo user a small free sample to a souk order just under a year ago with put.
Since the reviews here are only so mediocre, I did not expect much. But lo and behold, the first spray a direct hit.

Fresh, fruity, a little woody and above all: GREEN!
The individual fragrance notes complement each other wonderfully and the slight sweetness by the currant rounds off the fresh green perfectly. I would not call the fragrance purely natural, very artificial or synthetic, but it is also not. The pungent synthetic note as in some other perfumes does not exist here. The association with freshly cut grass is definitely understandable, but one should not pay too much attention to this description. When I mow my lawn in the spring, it definitely does not smell like Bond No.9's Bleecker Street ;)

As you can already tell from the description, Bleecker Street is perfect for spring. In the summer you can wear it quite also, but for me this Bond No.9 is the prime example of a successful spring fragrance. In addition, it is a very everyday fragrance, which I think you can wear in the office, leisure or sports. In the evening, I would then probably but rather reach for another fragrance.

The durability is also surprisingly good for a fresh fragrance. Of course, you can not set the performance of oriental perfumes as a benchmark, but Bleecker Street also creates it well throughout the day.
Plus, it's pretty "crowd-pleasing." Even if that always sounds a bit stupid, he is liked by many and you can do little wrong. For me also a clear men's fragrance.

I have recently actually bought the 100 ml bottle, because the fragrance for me is simply the spring fragrance par excellence. Whether he is really worth 290 € original price, can certainly be debated, but on relevant sites you can find the 100 ml well and gladly times reduced by 50%.
For this price Bleecker Street is worth it in my opinion in any case and should be tried by everyone who likes fresh and green fragrances.

When I ordered a bottling of Fucking Fabulous, I was more than excited. Due to the name I expected a fragrance with real force. A perfume what, in a positive way, full "in the face" goes.
In fact, it is actually the exact opposite, but more about that later.

The first time testing I thought only: "well". Somehow I expected something completely different. I felt the fragrance is not bad, have also worn him a few times, but he has not blown me away. I could not understand how one can spend so much money for a bottle of it.
I have him then a few weeks no longer touched, sometime again test smelled and lo and behold, my perception had changed completely. I suddenly found the fragrance very very very good. I almost couldn't stop smelling the perfume all the time, that's how much I liked it. It was almost certain for me that I would want to buy a bottle and that has to mean something at that price. I then wore it a few more times and left it again. For this comment, I then smelled Fucking Fabulous again and somehow the euphoria faded a bit again. I still think it's great but I'm not sure if a whole bottle is really necessary. Maybe a good confirmation that impulse purchases are not always the best. But I find it somehow exciting how my perception can change several times within half a year. Maybe you guys have experienced something similar before. Let me know it gladly.

But now to the fragrance itself:

As already addressed, the perfume is so not at all with power "in the face". This creation of Tom Ford is creamy, sweet and not at all intrusive. One takes Fucking Fabulous in any case well, the sillage is decent and also about the durability I can not complain. The fragrance floats virtually like an aura around you without disturbing or negatively noticeable. In my opinion, you could almost talk about a kind of luxury room fragrance, positively connoted of course.
The name I find cool, but not quite appropriate. I just associate something else with "Fucking Fabulous".

The blend of almond, vanilla, lavender and tonka bean is easy to detect and makes the scent really unique. Parfums de Marly's Pegasus does have the same scent notes and you can detect some similarity if you like, but there's just nothing that smells like Fucking Fabulous. Feel free to help me out but I just don't know of anything that goes in an identical direction that could be mistaken for this scent. The uniqueness is definitely given with this perfume and I could not remember to have smelled him anywhere else except with a single colleague.

In my opinion, this Tom Ford also has good signature potential. I find him incredibly versatil and often applicable. The summer I would leave something out but otherwise I can imagine the fragrance very well in any remaining season. Also in the office the fragrance would go well. I once had a colleague whose office always smelled very good. I never asked him what it was though. Later when I tested Fucking Fabulous, that memory immediately came back to me. I could almost swear he used that perfume then, too.
As I said, very wearable in spring and winter. If I had to choose, however, I would pick fall as the most optimal season.

In addition, the fragrance is 100% unisex. My girlfriend also likes the fragrance very much and I take it on her also positive.

Whether the price is worth it in the end, everyone must decide for themselves. You definitely get a very uniquen fragrance, but for which you have to be somehow in the mood. I have the feeling that I like him sometimes, sometimes not.
Whether it is enough for a whole bottle with me, I do not know yet. The 10ml filling I want to miss but in any case.

I think I own since about half a year a filling of Pegasus. The good Jeremy mentions the Parfums de Marlys yes of the öfteren (cooperation?) and so just also Pegasus.

My interest was thus aroused and by the nevertheless very good evaluations here, I had also a certain expectation at the smell. In addition, I already knew a few Parfums de Marlys, which increased my anticipation.

When trying out the first time, I was then but then transported back to the bottom of the facts. Why exactly, I tell the same.
I could not actually believe it so really and wanted to tell me that maybe I only caught a fake.
So I ordered another bottling from another person and .... it was the same perfume. So after all had not been a fake ... Great

The fragrance opens relatively austere and synthetic. Almond and vanilla are clearly perceptible in the course. Lavender is also still to recognize. The alleged amber in the base, however, I can not recognize for the life of me.

The severity and synthetic largely disappears after some time and Pegasus nestles smoothly around you. At the same time, the sillage of the fragrance is not so bad. Pegasus is already clearly was increase but not at all intrusive. Rather like an aura that always accompanies you. Still, I can't give the sillage, at least on my skin, a very good grade. Partly I have read here that the sillage should be 12/10. I can not confirm that, for me at least.

Pegasus is clearly creamy and sweet. As already said also a little synthetic but that is not in the foreground, I think. The almond also gives the fragrance a certain bitterness, which is not negative. The "metallic" nature of the perfume, often described here, is quite understandable. Probably the association comes from the fact that Pegasus is a rather cold fragrance.

But...

I don't really warm up to him then. I have long wondered what reminds me Pegasus. Somehow I always have to think of glue from my childhood when I smell the fragrance. I read in a comment here that the perfume reminds me of expensive Nivea. I would sign so also 1:1.

Pegasus is okay but nothing special and has somehow nothing super exciting. All the very positive comments I can not really understand unfortunately.

The fragrance is, as I said, not totally bad or so. But if you also consider the price, I would never buy a full bottle of it.
Pegasus is a fall/winter scent, and for those seasons I can think of 100 scents I'd rather wear.

i think I've had Club de Nuit Intense Man for almost three quarters of a year now. Originally, I bought the fragrance blind to test another Aventus clone. Supposedly, it was the best double and the difference is hardly noticeable. At least that's what I read more than once back then. I say in advance: well....
Now I wrestle me but also times to a review through.


Let's start with the packaging:

When I unpacked the fragrance, all I could think was, "Wow, what a bottle! Really heavy and super quality." I think the bottle is unbeatable for the price. You really have to wonder how Armaf manages to sell a perfume for 30€ and deliver such a quality of the bottle while certain "niche houses" demand many times that for their fragrances and can not even begin to show a high-quality bottle as with Club de Nuit Intense Man (Tom Ford :D).

About the appearance of the flacon you can argue for sure but the quality for this price is really very very good.


In the end, however, it is still about the content, so

As soon as you apply the perfume you are unfortunately immediately slain by a pungent synthetic. The prelude is anything but pleasant and unfortunately this synthetic pungent aftertaste does not disappear completely in the further course.
Overall, the fragrance is smoky, fruity and citrusy.


Aventus?

Over time, the scent actually becomes more and more aligned with Creed's Aventus. The closest I would describe Club de Nuit Intense is Batch 19S01 ... BUT ... There is then quite a difference between Aventus and CDNIM! While Aventus 19S01 is soft and balanced, CDNIM is hard and edgy. Something is missing. Aventus 19S01 is a rounder, not so synthetic stabbing and better version.
But the comparison is still valid. The layman, especially after a while, would probably find it hard to tell the difference.

What bothers me but and why I have not worn the fragrance more than a few times to test is that this pungent synthetic note does not disappear. It is indeed at some point only in the background to guess but it still bothers me. Somehow I get a headache from it.

One must note however simply also that CDNIM costs 30€.... 30€!!! At such prices, I usually buy blindly because I can still add the bottle to my collection in case of need without wearing it often. The purchase should not have been but I regret it because of the price also not.


If you're not big on perfumes and don't know about Aventus' batch problem, you might find CDNIM a good alternative. But if you have a trained nose and are looking for a real clone, the harshness and imbalance in CDNI might bother you.

In the end, it's 30€ so in doubt: Try It!

I can understand the widespread opinion in the comments that this fragrance is an "all-rounder" somewhere but for me, the fragrance works best in summer, in the evening.

I always associate the perfume with warm summer nights and a nice get-together with friends over a few beers :D

To be honest, fresh smells different to me too. But that is definitely not negative. The creaminess, powderiness and sweetness make the smell very seductive and pleasant. You simply feel good when you wear Allure Homme Sport EE. By the way, the (younger 20-25) women also like the fragrance very much... D

I would definitely buy the fragrance again and I can only recommend everyone to try it once on warm summer evenings
