Since I like the Lacoste line, I trusted the reviews and bought this on a blind buy.
The opening is great! Green and citrus! Perfect!
The dry-down, not so much. On my skin, it takes on a smokiness that I don't care for. The edt may be better, but I've never tried it.
One thing I have found is, Lacoste is about variety. Every scent is completely unrelated to the last.
Some great, some not so much. If it works for you, great, this one is just not for me.

At $12.99, I thought, "Why not?
Don't let the price or heritage fool you, this is actually nice. Does it smell like $150? No. But it IS a very nice daily scent that works anywhere.
It's a fresh spicy citrus with a hint of musk.
Great bang for the buck.

I tried this in the store on my arm. The open is a bit startling, but it soon settles into a nice clean spicy fresh lavender with a bit of green wood.
Once I got in the car my wife took notice. She said "You smell GOOD!"
I really don't understand the bad reviews. I like it a lot and my wife LOVES it!
Is it anything like the 1984 Lacoste? No.
Is it bad? Not at all!
Like most Lacostes, it's just different, but to me, that's not a bad thing.
This may be my new signature scent.
