The Little (Blackcurrant) Dream
Mini Dream is one of the affordable fragrances from the French house Ulric de Varens.
They are probably designed for a small budget and are quite practical when you need an inexpensive everyday scent without high expectations that you can easily slip into your handbag.
I don't like to take large bottles with me, and transferring expensive fragrances into small plastic tubes isn't really my thing either. I prefer to apply those at home.

And since Ulric de Varens has some really great fragrances that I love and I have even hoarded several bottles of them, I am not averse to this brand and enjoy trying out one or another scent. With the price, you really don't lose much.
And there are definitely worse fragrances out there...
My favorites from Ulric de Varens are by the way: Cotton Musk, Musk Patchouli, and Mini Musk.
I love these three..

Back to Mini Dream:
Mini Dream is a fragrance of the sweet kind, but its sweetness is still bearable. You should avoid applying too much, as with all sweet scents.
At the beginning, I immediately smell the blackcurrant, and I find that this note remains until the end.
I also perceive a bit of mandarin. The fragrance has an overall sweet-sour fruity note.
Then the sweet-fresh honeysuckle appears, which fits well into the mix along with warm jasmine blossoms.
The base is warm with musk and patchouli, but not too dominant.

The longevity is about average. Normally, I prefer fragrances that last longer, but with sweet candidates, an average longevity is enough for me.
I think less is often more here.
Mini Dream is not the best fragrance from Ulric de Varens, but it is quite okay if you are into blackcurrant scents.

Flower Cream
Spirit of Lovely Flowers by Spirit has actually been around for ten years, but I only bought it about a year ago.
Nevertheless, I have almost used it up.
It is a floral-balsamic scent that doesn't cost much and is suitable for everyday wear and work when you just want something simple and not too heavy.
And at this price, occasional reapplication doesn't hurt.

Spirit of Lovely Flowers is clean-floral and has a yellow-citrusy opening.
At first, I perceive grapefruit and pink pepper.
Then jasmine takes the lead role without being too intrusive. A hint of apple scent joins in.
There are definitely similarities to Jàdore.
In the base, I detect a light musk and patchouli, but never too much. Nicely balanced.

Overall, a pleasant soft floral scent that I would definitely recommend.

The longevity and sillage are in the medium range.

I don't know if it is still available. I haven't seen it anywhere at the moment.
If I come across it again, I will buy another bottle.

Cherry Blossom Fragrance
My bottle of Spirit of Cherry Blossom by Spirit is running low, so it's time to write a short text about this extremely affordable fragrance.

In recent years, I have hardly written any reviews, as there has been quite a bit to process in my family, and perfume then becomes a secondary matter.
However, my interest in perfume has never really disappeared.

About the scent:
Spirit is a very inexpensive brand that produces fragrances for a small wallet, including a few dupes.
But I must say that the scents from this brand are not that bad and are definitely suitable for everyday use.
I have had Spirit of Cherry Blossom for a few years now, and I have always enjoyed using it when I want something fresh and unobtrusive. For example, at work.
The opening features citrus notes like bergamot and clementine.
Right after that, blooming fruit blossoms emerge, such as the cherry blossom that gives the fragrance its name and apple blossoms.
These notes remain dominant.
I don't really perceive anything from the base notes.

The longevity and sillage are in the medium range, but at this price, you can confidently reapply, and the bottle fits well in a handbag.

It is suitable for everyday wear and not too conspicuous, something simple and pleasing for every day, so to speak.

Since I was quite satisfied with the fragrance, I will gladly repurchase it.

Sweet Life
I received the fragrance Queen of Life as a bonus with a 30 ml bottle of another scent. Until then, I had no experience with La Rive fragrances (although it can certainly be something inexpensive), and I probably wouldn't have thought of buying this scent myself.
So, I thought, why not try it out. I knew, of course, that La Rive produces dupes of popular designer fragrances.
I am familiar with the original La Vie est Belle and have tested it several times since I have a miniature of it. However, I never really warmed up to the original; it's just too much of a good thing for me.
And to be honest, I actually find this cheaper alternative better because (although still very sweet - I wouldn't recommend more than 3 delicate sprays here either) it comes across as a bit more subdued.
Once the initial fragrance cloud has dissipated after spraying, I find this scent quite pleasant on my skin.
At first, I perceive thick, syrupy blackcurrant, sweet and luscious.
Then come sweet orange blossoms and jasmine flowers.
In the base, I mainly sniff out vanilla, tonka bean, and patchouli.
Queen of Life is really not bad if you like sweet fragrances and find the original a bit too much.
The longevity is okay, and the sillage is bearable, but please don't overdo it and apply too much here as well.
I wouldn't wear it daily, but every now and then, I can also enjoy something sweet.

Flower Field with Underbrush
Sur La lande by Yves Rocher is one of the newer fragrances from his line. I have been using this scent for quite a while now, even frequently in my daily life. The 30 ml bottle is already slowly nearing its end... So it is definitely suitable for everyday wear, as it never feels overwhelming.

I cannot smell lavender at any point when I wear this fragrance. Nor chamomile. The fragrance pyramid does not mention lavender either (although usually not everything is revealed in fragrance pyramids - it's probably like cooking recipes - a secret recipe...).
Rather, I find the jasmine quite dominant, and I also perceive something like berries and pink pepper. The scent Sur La Lande never becomes too sweet for my taste.
In the base, you can still detect woody notes.

The fragrance is not a masterpiece or an olfactory milestone, but it is still solidly made. Yes, it is made for the general public, but certainly not a bad scent. There are more annoying fragrances out there.
The longevity and sillage are in the better middle range. The bottle is kept rather simple, as is currently trendy.
Maybe I will buy it again.
