You are surely familiar with finely sugared jelly fruits from the candy aisle in Germany? Or Turkish Rahat Lokum dusted with powdered sugar? Or perhaps Russian sugared fruity "marmelad"? They are more or less similar dessert delicacies. And I imagine how in India, Mumtaz Mahal sat in the Taj Mahal four centuries ago, indulging in something like this ;-) (See the story of the inspiration behind the creation of Shalimar.)

And so, Shalimar Souffle is for me - it is candied citrus fruits, accompanied by a bitter note - more like lime peels, candied lemon. It’s as if when looking at this dessert, one would think it is incredibly sweet, but when you take a bite, you are surprised that it is only subtly sweetened. Enhanced with vanilla powdered sugar and rounded off with warmth.
It is a very beautifully balanced composition, where the citrus, the bitterness, a bit of sweetness, and warm woodiness are united.
The 30 ml bottle looks simply delightful!!! :-) A pure joy for the eyes!
It is a noticeably lighter variation than classic Shalimar, without harsh notes. Thus, from age 30 and up, it would suit any woman - a lovely everyday companion in summer, spring, and early autumn. I can’t say anything about winter yet.

But oh, how disappointed I was with the longevity when I could hardly perceive the scent after just an hour! It gives the impression that during production, they quickly forgot to test the next version for longevity.
Well, one can only shrug and reach for the bottle more often. I bought it recently, so I don’t know if it lasts longer in winter? Otherwise, for now - I wouldn’t buy the scent again. Such a shame! Delighted with a shrug ;-)

Delicate lily of the valley, freshness, finesse, and cheerfulness without sweetness. Or perhaps a hint of sweetness at the end with a young wood note.
A beautiful start to the day!
A pick-me-up for all ages. A spring and summer companion that doesn't disturb anyone.
A workplace fragrance, a bridal scent, but it would also suit an optimistic older lady.
Marc hasn't impressed me until now, but this one won me over immediately. The presentation was, by the way, in winter! But even then, it sounded uplifting. Therefore, I would say, for winter, a spring anticipation!

Today I took my old Ralph along for a convertible ride. At first, I thought: “Well, is this the right choice?”
During the drive, you get a lot of oxygen. You might ask: “What does that have to do with anything?”
I find this scent quite difficult to describe. According to the pyramid, it’s a floral composition, but these are flowers I’ve never smelled before. Yes, it’s floral, delicate. And I’m trying to find the association to that certain something this fragrance conceals. And bang! That’s the burst of oxygen, that lightness. Now I’ve got it.
My summary:
It’s a light floral composition made from rare flowers, very airy, with a touch of freshness. It has a girlish quality. Nice for the office and also for all day long. Cheerful and peaceful, positive.
Ralph was my very first choice when buying perfume 20 years ago (already). Recently, I revisited it, and I think it hasn’t become outdated. And until now, I’ve never encountered anything similar!

Love at first encounter.
A great fragrance - modern, zesty, juicy, energy-packed, slightly spicy, and even salty for me! But everything is beautifully balanced, a round, interesting, well-executed composition.
It may sound a bit extreme, but it is by no means too loud. It’s like a lightly sugared fruit dessert with some floral notes and a pinch of salt for sex appeal.
For young girls, but also for young-at-heart older ladies. For daytime, but also for an evening at the cocktail bar.

What a wonderful composition!
A gentle, soft, delicate scent that reminds me of tulle clouds or ballet tutus. Subdued and calming. I just feel like this cloud goes unnoticed by anyone but me. Such a shame!!! There’s nothing left to do but indulge and enjoy it for myself:-)
Still, I love it. Because in the bottle, there are subtly sweetened or finely powdered delicate flowers. But it’s not sweet. I associate it more with cleanliness and freshness. The scent could also be a bridal fragrance!
