Not too crazy, but nice
This is the better, more fun version of Girls Can Do Anything, which I found fine, but a little bland.
The cola note makes it stand out. It doesn't come across as super fizzy like a fresh can of Coke, more like a melting Calippo ice pop, but with the typical warm, sweet scent profile that is recognizable as cola. The freshness in the opening comes from the creamy jasmine and juicy pear, not the cola note itself.
Underneath it all lies a very tonka-focused base. It's smooth and powdery, slightly almondy with the lightest hint of spiciness. Vanilla, of course, also plays a role and gives this a "pink", girly vibe, but in my opinion the tonka bean is stronger.

I really like how all the notes are at least a tad noticeable in this. The scent is very pleasant and has more of a kick to it than its predecessor. But I wish they went a little further, with some more spiciness and patch and a fizzier cola note. If girls can be crazy, they can certainly have a more unconventional fragrance, right?

One should be kind to the crazy...
... my friend taught me when I was once again annoyed by some strange fellow human.

She is right.

And there are indeed likable crazy people who enrich life rather than complicate it.
And among this likable kind is the new Zadig.

To begin with - these girls aren't really crazy.
They operate within societal norms.

I find the pear - cola blend original - but not "crazy."
The soft vanilla feels pleasantly smooth.
The patchouli is light and bright - and sandalwood wraps around it in a creamy manner.

A "well-tempered" fragrance that causes no harm - and doesn't clash.

In terms of "craziness," Madness by Chopard is considerably bolder - without being annoying.

However, I still enjoy wearing the Crazy Girls because the cola note dances amusingly out of line.

The fragrance is fun - and that's always useful.

No matter what everyone says, I love you from the very first moment!
No matter what everyone says about the name, that it's silly, inappropriate, and whatever else... to be honest, I find that a bit exaggerated and it ultimately leaves me quite indifferent. Because in the end, it's all about the content, and that has completely enchanted me from the very beginning.
It started with a sample that I casually sprayed on one day without thinking much about it. And then I suddenly couldn't stop sniffing my wrist & T-shirt. There was something so wonderfully fragrant, warm, soft... And I could have sworn that there was coconut in it, which I liked a lot, but at the same time totally confused me, as I wouldn't count myself among the biggest coconut fans. And I just couldn't stop sniffing... So I looked up the fragrance notes and was astonished to find that there is actually no coconut in it?
Instead, there is a pear & cola note that I can really smell and find quite original. At first, the scent is really very sweet, and you have to be careful that it doesn't overwhelm you, but that settles down quite quickly, and this fragrance just becomes more and more beautiful!
I'm not a super pro when it comes to fragrances, but this scent was one that immediately captivated and enchanted me again after a long time.. and I really missed that after I had to say goodbye to my favorite Idole d'Armani with a heavy heart because it is no longer produced (this always happens to me with fragrances that I love above all).
Girls can be crazy has the potential to become my signature scent again after a long time. It is sweet, warm, soft, a bit edgy. It is unique, modern, and elegant. In my opinion, it fits always, with jeans and also with an evening dress.
The longevity is, in my opinion, simply phenomenal, on the skin and especially on clothing. I don't need to reapply it, and if I do, it's just to get that unmistakable pear-cola opening again.
I really like the bottle, with the rose gold and the "water bottle" look, very modern. The only thing I expected was for the juice to be rosé, as shown in the advertisement, but it is clear. However, I can absolutely overlook that, as the scent itself is just so beautiful and warm in my opinion.
I also don't know any fragrance that I could compare it to. It fits winter & autumn, as it is so warm and cozy, but also summer, as it lasts so well and gives off that coconut vibe. Every time I spontaneously sniff the bottle, I can just close my eyes and let out a dreamy "Hmmm." And then I am so happy to have found it.
In my opinion, an absolute "underrated/hidden gem," and I can only hope that this one is never taken out of the assortment??❤️

Girls, Girls, Girls
Today is the 19th door of my perfume Advent calendar, are you as curious as I am? Well, you already know what's inside: Zadig & Voltaire - Girls can be Crazy

After Girls Can Do Anything and Girls Can Say Anything, this Girls Can Be Crazy now completes the Girls trilogy, but who knows, Zadig & Voltaire might throw a few more Girls Something fragrances onto the market in the coming years, let’s say with rather childish names. I am certainly a fan of creative names that can be a bit cheeky, but all these Girls are just childish tongue twisters to me, not quite as bad as the Kilians in the round flacons, but only a hair's breadth away from that level of embarrassment.

Before I share my first impressions of GCBC, let’s first talk about the predecessors, which I recently sprayed again to refresh my memory. The first in the series, if you can call it that, almost convinces me with a fresh-sweet, slightly synthetic orange blossom. It’s not an extravagant scent, but I find it quite pleasant. In stark contrast to GCSA, which is just squeaky-fruity and over the top. I can’t tolerate it for long, I even have to wash it off.

So, I didn’t expect much from this new Girls scent, as I have never particularly liked fragrances with a cola note. When sprayed, it reminds me at first of the first Girl, but then quickly becomes much sweeter, not unpleasant, rather bright, friendly, and pleasing. No trace of pear. Cola perhaps, but not the fizzy, freshly opened bottle served over ice with a slice of lemon, rather comparable to the cola syrup for the Sodastream that stands in our kitchen cupboard. I perceive a creamy, almost coconut-like note, which probably comes from the tonka bean. So far, my notes from the first test.

I bravely tested it again and captured all my thoughts simultaneously just for you:
The first sniff is powdery-fresh, immediately followed by sweetness. This coconut-like creaminess is right there. Today, I suspect that this is supposed to be the cola: sticky, gooey. Unfortunately, again no pear or one so overly sweetened that you can no longer recognize it as such. Some chemical note mixes in, and when you sniff very closely, it almost has a bitter almond, benzaldehyde quality. It’s hard for me to identify or name individual scent notes and align them with the fragrance pyramid, harder than with other fragrances. It’s a sweet mush, and the word lump seems more fitting to me, as that’s how the scent comes across to me right now; occasionally, one overly sweet peak flashes here, another there, but before I can grasp or name it clearly, it’s gone. The drydown, which appears somewhat less overly sweet but increasingly creamy, has a somewhat synthetic-apart quality that I can appreciate.

I would tend to assign the scent to a very young target audience. It is somewhat pleasing and uncomplicated, but very sweet and rather synthetic. I would intuitively categorize it in winter, as here, like so often with sweet scents, the cold seems necessary as a good counterbalance. In warmer temperatures, it could become very sticky or even stuffy.

I wouldn’t invest in a flacon here, as the first part of the Girls series seems more appealing to me. But for those who enjoy sweet-synthetic scents, this new release might be to their liking.

Thank you for reading,

Your Flaconesse

Juicy and crazy.
Love at first encounter.
A great fragrance - modern, zesty, juicy, energy-packed, slightly spicy, and even salty for me! But everything is beautifully balanced, a round, interesting, well-executed composition.
It may sound a bit extreme, but it is by no means too loud. It’s like a lightly sugared fruit dessert with some floral notes and a pinch of salt for sex appeal.
For young girls, but also for young-at-heart older ladies. For daytime, but also for an evening at the cocktail bar.

It's kind of crazy that there are hundreds of these scents. Cheap, squeaky-sweet, super synthetic, it stinks up the whole house. No more!

Indefinable mix, very sweet, and more than one spray makes insects drop dead from the window as you walk by.

The first minute: WOW! A gummy cola bottle note! Too quickly, the familiar Zadig DNA comes back to the surface.

Cola, coconut, and floral notes on a sandalwood base.
Solid, but not groundbreaking.
H&S is okay to good.

Sweet vanilla & cola. Totally uncomplicated and delicious. H/S is really good for the price. It's not a "teen scent" as often mentioned here.
