i'm not gagging
I am a little bit underwhelmed. On the official site, the notes are listed as Musk, Iris, Ambrette, and Pink Peppercorn (idk where all these notes here or on fragrantica were found tbh).

Now, on my skin, it does have a citrusy quality that would make sense if it included bergamot or some other citrus of this nature, maybe even lemon. It's really not a 'perfumy' perfume, it smells kind of like a shower gel. I do agree with some reviews that mention how it's slightly sharp and soapy. It's a very low-profile scent, so low-profile that, for me, it ends up feeling boring.

I love musky, powdery scents, but something about this doesn’t click for me. Maybe it’s the fact that the musk feels very very soapy rather than powdery or skin-like, as I expected, or maybe it’s this weird citrusy smell that lingers from the first spray. Either way, I wasn’t impressed. I find it forgettable to the point where I have to keep sniffing it just to even remember the smell.

It was a blind buy and I feel like I should have invested in L'eau Papier.

Sensual and not that innocent if you ask me
Ok, first things first, I have no idea how people are getting Musc Noir or Musc Noir Rose from this, I’m definitely not smelling it (no fruitiness, no suede, no heliotrope, which I personally pick up a lot in MN). Musc Noir is my favorite from the For Her line, but Nude is coming in strong.

I find it heavier than Musc Noir, sexier, sweeter, spicier, and kind of darker, almost heady. Nude is a perfect name for it because, to me, it’s definitely a ‘night activity’ perfume. I find Musc Noir also sexy, but also more classy and versatile, I see Nude more as an evening/night scent. I’m not sure I’d personally wear it during the day or in warmer months, but from what I’ve seen, that might put me in the minority, I have no idea what’s going on

It might be the tonka beans, which on my skin come off as spicy, sweeter, and almost tobacco-like, while the musk adds a clean quality (the white flowers contribute to that too) and it's powdery, it has a slighlty skanky quality, not in a bad way it has the vibe of perfumed skin after sleeping in it or, honestly, after sex.

The biggest meh that ever meh-ed
I’m kinda bummed out about this one. I saw the Vanilla Powder comparisons and the notes and was genuinely excited because, even if it wasn’t a dupe, it seemed like a very good and interesting vanilla. My favorite Zara perfume is Supreme Vanilla, which is also my signature scent. Unfortunately, this one is just so, so, so generic. It’s such a generic unisex ambery vanilla.

The incense and salt are present, but the vanilla core is a boring synthetic vanilla, so they can’t save it. The jasmine, coconut, and caramel are nonexistent, or at least I can’t pick them up. All in all, meh. Not a bad perfume, but a big, big meh.

Cherry Liquer Goodness
I have the new ombre bottle, I’m not sure if this is a dupe for Lost Cherry, and frankly, I don’t really care about that. As a stand-alone perfume, especially for the price, I LOVE it.

I’m not a fan of cherry in perfumes. Personally, I usually find it weirdly artificial and reminiscent of cough syrup. Cherry Smoothie is not that. It’s artificial, yes, but in a cherry liqueur/maraschino cherry/cherry jam kind of way, which works for me. Combined with the sweetness from the vanilla and the powdery heliotrope (a note I love in general), it’s just great!

It has good longevity and decent sillage as well. I can’t detect much almond, to be honest. I think there’s a subtle powdery bitterness that might come from the almond, but it’s nothing like marzipan or the almondy sweetness of Disaronno. That said, I don’t mind because I really enjoy the scent overall.

I’m not sure if I like it, but I can’t stop sniffing myself!
Okay, this is so weird. Funny enough, this is the same reaction I had with all my current favorites when I first tried them out.

This is one of those perfumes I recognized immediately, but I hadn’t realized it was Aromatics Elixir. It’s dark, sharp, bold, and very vintage.

The opening is super sharp and has that old-school vibe, almost too old. It reminds me of the Ouzo candies all Greek grandmas have, it gives off an intense anise scent to me. After maybe half an hour, I start to get this incredibly realistic, wet forest earth scent mixed with a clean, bold, soapy powderiness. As it develops, it becomes more aromatic and botanical with a hint of smokiness, closer to cigarette smoke than incense, and stays sharply clean.

After hours (because this perfume is a BEAST), the final scent that clings to my skin is this bewitching, weird, dark, powdery floral olibanum. Just… unusual.

All in all, I might come to love it, but right now, I’m just intrigued. It’s definitely not boring and absolutely not your typical on-trend, popular scent right now. I might change the rate of the smell after some time
