Effortlessly Won
The top note is certainly citrusy, but not in the classic sense. It is darker, richer, and the jasmine adds an elegant and calm touch. This is wonderfully done. The patchouli makes its presence known quite quickly and runs through the entire fragrance profile with a subtle earthiness. Aside from a slight fruity sweetness and a bit of sweetness from the amber, there is nothing else sweet here. However, a charming aftershave note keeps popping up for me. I think it gives the perfume its "man stamp," which fits excellently with the overall concept. The base takes a little while to reveal itself and adds considerable depth to the fragrance.
Frankincense, guaiac wood, and amber blend slowly and sensitively into the mix. This is top-notch.
The patchouli is still in play, but without ever being intrusive.
Great! Purchased!

Leap into the Night
The resemblance to Joop's Jump is quite noticeable. Jump is one of the few Joop fragrances that somewhat appeals to me. Eau de Nuit, however, is not a copy. It is clearly more elegant, mature, casual, and of better quality.
Actually, that already covers the essentials. It may not be a particularly spectacular perfume, but it still has this likable and friendly quality that makes it enjoyable and comfortable to wear.

Soap Against Dirt
The contrasts in No.1 are what give this perfume its class. Little complexity, but honest and truly beautiful, free from "art" or any other star pretensions. There are probably three fragrance components that set the tone here: cardamom, patchouli, and white musk. Surely there is more in there, but these three give No.1 its simple yet distinctive character.
As a result, this means an intense, clean soap meets earthy, slightly musty patchouli.
The soap maintains command, and the patchouli mixes a bit of dirt into the pure soap.
I really like this a lot, and the quality is very high.

Revitalizing Treatment
A truly powerful, dark green fragrance blend hits you upon applying MM.
In the first moments, it is quite herb-bitter, with a fierce galbanum blaze.
However, this opening settles down fairly quickly, and a magnificent winter forest feeling surrounds me.
Moss and vetiver in a wonderfully natural setting, richly spiced and beautifully masculine.
A sandalwood-incense mixture lingers together with this character for many hours.
It just feels good!

Honor of Creation
The expectations for a perfume based on its naming are placed so extremely
in the spotlight as has been done here, I find quite
strange.
What I smell here is a solid but also very inspired men's perfume.
These characteristics are brilliantly realized in this fragrance and it is anything
but boring.
The scent is mildly spicy and is complemented by a fruity component that reminds me a bit
of cherries. A touch of oud then makes its appearance, embraced by labdanum
and surrounded by bright musky notes.
Several Lalique fragrances are among my favorites and this one makes it
very easy for me to honor it and appreciate its beauty.
One of the most beautiful bottles of all time.
