Unique Vanilla, in a Good Way
I had to sit with this a minute to appreciate it, but I certainly do. For the first 1-2 minutes, I was sure I'd made a mistake, but I didn't. The best way I can describe this is a dirty vanilla. It's a grown up Bianco Latte, heavier on the cumin, lighter on the sweet, plus some Other complex additions. I can understand why it's not mass appealing. It's definitely not for everyone, but I appreciate it and enjoy it. I think it's going to be a full bottle for me.

Zesty and fresh
To my nose, this is almost exactly I Am Coming Home by Floraiku, but longer lasting and louder. The zesty, spicy ginger citrus opening is my favorite, and it hangs around for a hours. It dries down into a beautiful, modern base. Don't let the patchouli scare you. My nose is still searching for the carrot - ha ha! A little goes a long way. If you love ginger like I do, you owe it to yourself to smell this.

Nutty and Different
I started to say that this does not smell like I expected it to; however, looking at the notes, I am not sure exactly what I expected it to smell like. Perhaps it's my imagination, but if I think about it, I feel like each note is perceptible here. The most stand out notes to my nose are the walnut and the coconut with everything else playing a beautiful supporting roll. The coconut is superbly done. It's not juvenile or powdery, nor would I really even consider it "tropical." It's smooth and realistic.

This is gourmand, but it's not as sweet as most. It's Sora Dora, so the quality is a given. In line with other offerings from the house, it's opulent, sophisticated and an absolute performance powerhouse. A little leaked around the atomizer due to the pressure changes during transportation, and I wiped that on my shirt. My husband can smell me ~10 feet away.

Though I had my hesitations at first due to how different this is, I actually love it. I have a pretty substantial collection, but I don't have anything else that smells even remotely like this. I'm 100% pleased with my purchase and I'm happy to have found it.

Nuclear Freshie
In any forum you will find countless requests for a long-lasting freshie. Well, here it is. This is the most beastly fresh, aquatic fragrance. I believe it's stronger than Lorenzo's Black Sea, if you can believe that. I'm not a huge fan of aquatic fragrances, or freshies on general if you want me to be honest, but if I was, I'd likely snatch this one up.

Boozy and enjoyable
I was sent a sample of this, and I was excited to try it because there are a few I really enjoy from this house. I can now add this to that list. A "blind sniff" would show one why it was named Sangria Oak - it does smell like an aged red wine. The rum note in here is enhanced by the saffron and it just works very well. The whole thing does. Lasted approximately 10 hours on my skin, so it has some umph too. On the wishlist it goes.
