Scented Smoke

Smoking hookah (shisha, narguile, etc.) has become all the rage in America but of course it has been a staple in the Middle East for generations. The sweet tobacco can be customized with various flavors and having the smoke filtered through liquid creates an incredibly smooth smoking experience.

When you walk into a room where hookah has been smoked, there is a delicious smell of tobacco, apples and caramel. Since the most popular flavor of hookah is double apple, I have always wanted to find a perfume that smelled just like the double apple smoke.

House of Matriarch has created exactly what I have been looking for. With notes of apple, caramel, molasses and tobacco, Sacre Tabac Sucre allows me to experience the languid smell of hookah anytime.

This perfume is on the expensive side but to me, well worth it simply because there is nothing else that I’ve ever smelled that replicates double apple hookah smoke so well. Ambre Narguile by Hermes is another (expensive) option but it is much softer and does not have much of a tobacco note.

Sacre Tabac Sucre is one of a kind. It is original and well crafted. I wish you many relaxing nights of sacred smoke wearing this masterpiece.
