It always takes certain constants in life. These are necessary in order to keep both feet on the ground and to master the sometimes exhausting turmoil of everyday life.
And there is a good and trusted friend by your side, on whose shoulder you can lean and give a deep sigh
These good friends will stand by your side for many years to come.

And that already leads me to Allure Homme from Chanel.
I made this for me unplanned but wonderful friendship almost 20 years ago in a very nice little perfumery in Hamburg. Somewhat undecided which fragrance I should buy, a very dear and competent lady recommended this fragrance to me, after she had researched my preferences a little bit.
And I am still grateful to this very nice lady for this recommendation.

From the beginning I was fascinated by these beautiful citric notes, which come out very pleasant and soft. Shortly afterwards it becomes slightly flowery and a bit spicy, I can't smell single notes, everything is so excellently interwoven, nothing sticks out unattractive or disturbing. And the same goes on in the base, where the floral and citric accents step back a bit and make room for the woody notes, but still play along in the background. At the end the whole thing is loosened up by a hint of coconut, I can smell this hint of coconut very well.
I like to wear Allure Homme again and again, to work, to go out, in my free time or just for myself to feel good. And for me this is the faithful friend who never lets me down and on whom I can always rely on.
He is there for me, surrounds me with his presence, but never imposes himself on me, but remains calm and thoughtful and always accompanies me in the most pleasant way through the day or the evening.

Allure Homme is good for a working day and you are noticed by others for a few hours. He also receives compliments from time to time, which makes me very happy, because I see that as the crowning glory.

For some people, all of this may seem a little too smooth and not expressive enough. I understand this well and I also accept if someone does not like the scent. Not everyone can like everything and everyone has other good friends and companions

Mine I found with Allure Homme, it is bought again and again. May it stay with me for a long time to come.

Who among us doesn't know that? In the morning you stand helplessly and helplessly in front of the wardrobe and have no idea what to wear.
After a lot of searching and putting aside, a favourite piece is finally chosen, which then proves to be the right decision and gets you through the day well.
This can be transferred just as well to fragrances. Sometimes you stand in front of your selection and think about it, take a bottle out, sniff, put it back and look around for another one, until you decide on one of your favourites and feel really good about it.

Whenever I feel like it, I always reach for CK One again and again in the end, because its friendly, refreshing and unobtrusive nature makes many a busy and stressful day easier for me or accompanies me cheerfully and relaxed on leisure activities.

At first, cheerful floral-citric-fresh notes jump out at me and really cheer me up. Then a very nice, pleasant and light soapiness develops, through which a touch of tea shines through again and again. Whereby tea with soap is not necessarily so tasty... But on the skin and on the clothes it looks very good.
The floral and citric notes are still there, until the fragrance finishes with a nice round, I would say "clean" note, which is still underlined by floral notes.

The whole thing does not have such a great endurance, one is perceived for about 4 hours, then the scent withdraws to a level close to the skin. Then it is already time to spray. But with the quite favorable prices this is not so bad
The fact that CK One does not have such a long veil of scent makes it primarily suitable for office use. I myself work very closely with customers, so a not so obtrusive scent is appropriate anyway.
But he also cuts a good figure in his free time.

I've known CK One since its release in 1994, 24 years ago now. Even after all these years the fragrance has lost nothing of its friendly, refreshing charisma for me.
Surely, in the meantime one has not only tinkered with it once, taken ingredients from it, thinned it out and probably even watered it down, I am sure it used to be a bit stronger and tarter and has also lasted longer. Nevertheless I like the current formulation very much and especially now in summer it is often used.
The flacon is simple and as unagitated as the fragrance, I can still remember the more distinctive writing.

And I also think CK One is equally good for him and her, and its pleasant friendly unobtrusiveness makes it a beautiful and unexcited companion. Furthermore, CK One doesn't seem like an outdated product to me, but still up-to-date and fitting for today's world. But I'm sure you all already know that
Anyway, I am very glad that he made it into the 21st century. In my opinion rightly a classic and so well known.

I know, I'm certainly not telling anything new, but I wanted to dedicate my first comment here to a beautiful favorite fragrance.
