Actually, this scent was just an add-on. I thought, I'm a girl, so of course you try fresh and sweet scents. Well what can I say, through Chambre Noire I got to know myself much better. That smell of seriousness and depth, totally captivated me. I was constantly thinking why I was so attracted to this kind of scent. Now I was in my old home Berlin for a week. 30 years ago I had to leave the city as a child, the city where I always rode the subway alone. I actually don't have necessarily good memories of that time in the underground. But not traumatic ones either...Anyway, I entered the first subway and bäähm....there it was again. the smell. Don't get me wrong, it's not meant to remind you of dirty and pissy platforms. I love that smell: cellar-earthy-woody. A scent that still makes me feel incredibly feminine but deep and reliable, just like the train! Through this fragrance, the opinion of others has become rather unimportant to me. I feel personally so addressed by Chambre Noire, I know that no one can understand so and that is also completely okay. The compliments makes me the fragrance alone, no other person
